Location excellent, except for walk to Metro being 10 - 15 mins. Lots of eating and drinking options nearby. Quiet room overlooking the garden. A friendly welcome. Good free wi-fi. Clean. Efficient shower. Balcony had no direct access from room. Very basic decoration in old fashioned room. No air con so even in October it was rather hot. Be aware...

Even though I am not really demanding when it comes to cheap hotels, I was really disappointed with this one. Staff speaks bad english, I found several bugs (meaning insect) in our room, breakfasts were poor and I could clearly hear what were people in the room next to ours talking about... But the worst part was, that one day...

Great cost effective hotel. First in double bedroom on second floor (room 23 if I remember right) Room on the small side with double bed, chair, writing desk and cupboard. Small bathroom. Very clean, towels and service every day. Small balcony, 1chair, doors opening up to balcony providing good ventilation at night as no air con. Nice view of big...

In March there are many hotels in Porto offering similar competitive rates. For one person, it is 20 - 25 euros. I stayed at the Peninsular, and also here at the Estoril, both are very good but also very different - Moden hotel - Cheap rooms are small with a roof window and a very small bathroom (some other rooms...

I've been in this hotel for 3 nights in may 2013 with my 4 friends. We were renting room with 4 beds and balcony. It's very good hotel, rooms were very clean, every day we had new-clean towels. Hotel has very good location in centre, we can sightseeing only by foot. Price is very good, we paid about 40EUR for...

Hotel is in the city center, easy to reach main attractions. Near the hotel is a parking lot for 2 eur per night. Clean cozy rooms. Really enjoyed our stay there. The owner recommended some places for a nice meal.

The best features of the Estoril are the friendly welcome, the helpfulness, the value for money and the garden/solarium/vegetable garden at the back. Another plus is the garage 500 metres away where you can leave your car for a few euros a day. This isn't deluxe standard, although some of the rooms are being upgraded, yet it's clean and quaint...

I spent 3 nights here. Had the feel of a stately old house, with basic but good facilities. Beautiful flower garden out the back, terrace, located on a pedestrian street. 8-minute walk to metro stop. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet at 4,80Euros.

I have been recently staying there with a friend of mine. Locationwise is pretty convenient although the hotel itself (outside and inside) was not very nice. It looks like a cheap pension. The people working there are not that friendly and their english is very basic. Breakfast is not even included and the odd shower in the middle of the...

Stayed there in 2005 for 2 days and needed to stay another day in Porto and decide to move to another hotel. If you want a great hotel with a low price go to Residencial Grande Oceano or to Grande Hotel Paris, just 200 meters away from this place.
