Our hotel was in between place de figuera and the main square the location was perfect and the hotel internationale was great. One groan was that there was not enough space for your belongings. A chest of draws would have made all the difference, the room was slightly small but not a problem and the taxi fare was only £10...

I'm not a fan of "traditional" or "old fashioned" hotels, but this one was a good bargain. Close to city center, metro station Aliados (yellow line) and also the Sightseeing bus ticket office (next to the metro station). The man at the reception was friendly, helpfull and good looking, too ;-) There wasn't a great choice for breakfast, but everything...

This is an charming hotel in a very good location. Only a few minutes walk from the Metro or Train Station; and in easy walking distance of all the sites. In a narrow side street just off the Av. dos Aliados.

This hotel is located in the heart of the old city, with good transport links and the main tourist sites all within easy walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was a little small with dated decor, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental buffet, as expected, although no hot food was offered. We would stay...

Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed visit. Staff are great and most helpful. Its opposite Grande Hotel de Paris on Rua da Fábrica. This seems a busy route for the weekend night clubbers. Breakfasts were ample with cold and hot food. Lovely old stone staircase like an old palace. Rooms are adequate with flat screen TV and CNN, CNBC, BBC and...

Love the location as it is just 3 minutes walk from Sao Bento train station right at the heart of Porto., major tourist sites are within walking distance. The front desk staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok considering hotel is old (>100'years old).

The location is more than ideal! Situated in Porto's main square close to the main train station and all the good night bars and restaurants makes this hotel a good and easy way to explore Porto and its nightlife The hotel is a renovated old building and that has some flaws unless your architect/interior designer can work some wonders! We...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay and had a family room with 3 beds. The hotel is in a most excellent position, only seconds from shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and touring buses. It's about a 10 minute walk down to the river which is a bit hilly but certainly not as bad I was expecting. The hotel staff...

The Hotel Internacional is in an ideal location to explore Porto. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The was an excellent choice of pastries at breakfast as well as meats and cheese. The staff we're extremely polite and helpful. 88 Euros for two people for two nights = absolute bargain.
