This hostel was a little hard to find especially after sunset so be prepared. The common area is so cozy with really cool interior design. The sun terrace is great for chilling out on hot summer nights. It's easy to socialise here but also if you want to have some down time then the mountain of big cushions in the...

-DIY linen-no towel -very basic breakfast. Cornflakes, milk, tea, coffee. Bread, butter & jam Paid $24AUD /night. Staff were lovely and very fun. Very good common area and great location. Porto is a small town so it is walking distance to everywhere. Train to airport took 40mins from hostel and only costed 2-3€. Closest metro is bolhao which is a...

We arrived here by a friend's recommendation, and definitely we succeed. The hostel is super centrally located, and we got anywhere just by taking an slow walk. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and virtually no noise is heard from the near streets. We only had 2 disappointments: you must pay 1 euro for using the towels (suuuuper small towels...)...

The rooms are clean and nice, the lounge is really cozy and hipster-like... A nice place to stay for a bit more artistic backpacker. I was working there through helpx, and the owner was really cool and calm guy. The place is right in the center so it is really comfortable to explore around!

Good hostel, kind of well located, rooms are quite big, shared bathroom inside each room was just OK. One bad thing is that you can only use the shower from your room, so if you're sharing a room with other 7 people, you may have to wait. Though they say breakfast included, don't really count on it. Not that good....

Was only going to stay 3 nights ended up staying 2 weeks (so really that explains it all) This hostel is located in a good part of town. Breakfast is good. Chilled vibe and great people. Nothing was ever a problem. Will definitely stay here again.

What I think is the most important to find in a Youth Hostel is a good atmosphere, and the best company you can find in Porto is at Andarilho!!! Excellent and lovely staff, perfect rooms and WCs, and most of all a bar! We partied every night until 4. I went there with friends and stayed for more night only...

My experience was a 100% positive one. Through a website I was able to work in exchange for room and board and remember my entire stay fondly. I met great people, got to practice some Portuguese, and learn more about the wonderful town of Porto from the experts that own the place. Touring around listening to Fado music, getting day...

In my opinion the biggest asset of this hostel is the staff who are efficient, friendly, genuinely warm and knowledgeale. The facilities are excellent ,the bathroom is a good size and I could get a cup of tea at 5 am. Personally I would like big pillows, even though they give me two. I enjoyed the beer I was offered.
