I have stayed in boavista recently for 2 nights with group of friends. Hotel is easy to reach & clean, with a lovely sun terrace. But the highlight of the place is staff working there. Our receptionist Andres couldnt be more helpful and accomodating, always welcoming us with a smile and good tips about Porto ;)

We stayed for 2 nights in this guest house. The staff was very nice, the room was clean and the bathroom was great, absolutely new. Location is also good, we felt safe even late at night and it was close to the metro. However, there was some mold in the closet (on the ceiling), which freaked my wife out, as...

We opted to upgrade to a superior room when we made our booking and were pleased we had as on arrival it appears that the superior rooms are the ones that have recently been re decorated as the rest of the rooms were very dated. The rooms are extremely basic but very clean and were cleaned every day during our...

First impressions of the guest house were good, everything was very clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful but the rooms, room 13 anyway, really let the place down. Although spotlessly clean and with everything working, there is a serious lack of comfort. My room had a bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe but no chair...

It is a small guest house at a very convenient location to explore Porto. Room was a little bit old fashioned, but the staff were helpful and nice. They recommended us a nice local restaurant near the hotel named Casa de 3, which was really perfect.

The Guest House is easy to get to from the airport via the excellent Metro, this is a five minute walk. You can walk to the city from the guest House in 15 minutes. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff are first class. They seem to love their job and are delighted when they can help you. The...

Picked this for its affordability, but liked it more than expected. Rooms are very clean, staff very helpful and only a 10 min walk from centre. It can get a bit noisy from restaurant next door at night, but either bring earplugs or just stay out like the Portugese!

I found Boavista Guest House to be a great place to stay for a weekend in Porto. My room was newly redone and very clean, and the hotel was very quiet at night. The service at the front desk was helpful with my questions about the city, and the guest house was only a five-minute walk from the Carolina Michaelis...

The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. A simple breakfast is included and the rates are really affordable. There is also a very beautiful kind of patio - So, all you need for a short (or maybe longer) stay in this nice city. The hostel is located near a metro station. My wife and...
