Just returned from a 6 night stay at the calamijas hotel. The hotel itself is well appointed with easy access to the lovely la cala town. I was very impressed by the layout of the hotel, it is clean bright and very modern. The staff are welcoming & helpful. All the rooms surround the main pool area and are a...

This is not a holiday hotel its more of a cross between a motel and Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean, functional and fine for our 2 night stay on route to Benalmadena. There was a good selection at breakfast with the opportunity to sit outside however birds were a nuisance. There seemed to be a shortage of staff...

Last year our Daughter and a fried stayed in the hotel and had a really good holiday. We visited and were impressed and when we needed accommodation for a last night in Spain went for Calamijas. Check-in was 1400 and we had lunch in the village, arriving shortly after that. We were told at reception that the hotel was full...

I'd like to preface this review by stating that overall the hotel is nice. The service is somewhat slow but otherwise it is clean and well maintained. At reception this morning I overheard that some guests had some of their belongings stolen from their rooms. One man had clothing stolen and another had his children's toys stolen. The hotel didn't...

The hotel is pleasant and modern. We stayed here for six nights in July. It's a 10 minute walk to the town of La Cala which is an excellent small town full of local bars and restaurants and a few British ones too. Not really a holiday place for under 25's. The hotel room was spacious and modern with good...

This was our 3rd stay at the hotel - previous visits had been lovely and relaxing. We love the location of the hotel as LaCala is a great place and we knew not to expect too much from the hotel bar etc (no bar after 11pm) The hotel this time was sadly not as good as previous visits. It became...

Just back from a week at CalaMijas. Whilst I know you can't please everyone, I am at a loss as to why anyone could complaint about this hotel. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and linen clean and fresh. Towels were changed daily. Although the minibar was not a minibar but a small fridge it was ideal for stocking...

The hotel's address is not clear. We drove 3 hours around town until we found the hotel. Nobody knows him. The room was dirty, mold in the shower, bugs in the room, the minibar did not work, the air conditioning stopped at 1 at night regardless of the hot weather outside

We booked for 6 days bed and breakfast in a superior room with a balcony (room 27) for a family wedding in nearby Mijas. It was great value for money at approx £56 per night on an exchange rate of 1.37 euros. Whilst the balcony wasn't essential, it was nice to have with a small table and 2 chairs. Like...
