Bay Beach Resort provide a 3 stars comfy with local Thai vintage style spacious bungalow and rooms. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and come with a private balcony or terrace. All units are comfortably furnished with amenities such as satellites TVs and internet access cover whole area. Just had the most fantastic 2 week stay here. I could stay here for a year! I felt so at home at Bay Beach Resort. 100% recommend. My small bungalow was as described. The bathroom is massive. The bed was comfy, Netflix on TV, aircon worked well. Nothing better than waking up for a coffee on the verandah and an early morning pool swim. The pool is AMAZING. The managers and owners are delightful. The food in the restaurant was yummy. Loved the fact that the owners look after and feed the stray beach dogs. It contributes to the feeling of family. So much more personal than a 5 star international brand hotel. Choeng Mon is a fantastic village style destination on the international island of Koh Samui. Busy enough to get some low key drinks and dinner, quiet enough to be away from crazy. Close enough to get to the nightlife if you desire. The beach is calm, shallow and thai style, great for swimming, jet ski, massage etc …

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Bay Beach. I arrived to a warm welcome from Tina and the team at front of house who efficiently checked me in. Brilliant pool with views onto the stunning beach, great for long lap swimming in the mornings. I had breakfast and lunch most days which was gorgeous, great cocktail menu too! The owners Harriet and James are wonderful, always present making sure everybody is having a great time. Highly recommend Bay Beach and can’t wait to revisit in the future.

Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday right on the beach. Rooms spacious and comfortable bed. Lovely white Cotton bedding. Owners and all staff polite friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and so were the cocktails Lovely pool area all in all highly recommend

Lovely spot, run & managed by an ex pat English couple with excellent staff who could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. Without doubt, I’ll be back… Thank you James & Harriet !! Right on the beach in the best position in a beautiful cove, perfect to stay & chill or use a base to explore .

Arrived after a long journey on a Sunday evening to be warmly welcomed in true Thai style. A leisurely shower then shown to the dining room. Nothing spectacular except the setting. But a place where substance trumps appearance. A plate of steamed greens, large, extraordinarily sweet and moist prawns, steamed sea bass stuffed with aromats. First room no A/C/springs on mattress sticking thru - then we were moved to another room but safe did not work - replaced - but the room was so smelly - like mothballs - that we had to leave window open in order to be in it - no cleaning was done until night 4 - had to ask for more water / coffee everyday Nice beach and pool area but rooms were disappointing

We visited Choeng Beach and rented sun-beds and had lunch at the Choeng Beach bar and restaurant. The food was lovely (the chicken fried rice was excellent) and the service great. And the view’s not bad! If you are visiting Choeng Beach, check this place out…

What an amazing stay. Stayed in bungalow 3 right next to the beach, definitely worth the upgrade. Very clean room. Best thing about our stay was the owner named Apple, she was so helpful and friendly and simply couldn't have done more to make our stay such a memorable one. Will definitely be staying again.

We have been staying at Bay Beach Resort for 15 years. A special thanks to Apple the owner/manager who took over shortly before last years stay. Apple has made so many positive changes that I can honestly say that this years 18 days were the best. The rooms now have Hairdryers, Tea/Coffee making, new Airconditioners. The pool which was unswimmable for the previous two years is now sparkling clean. The beach only 50 meters away is also fantastic as well as the local restaurants and bars all also within 50 meters. This is not 5 star hotel so don't expect it. The pricing is perfect for what you get but the experience and service is 6 Star.
