We have stayed at Choeng Mon before but at another hotel. Paid lots more $ too. If you want every thing perfect stay at a 5 star somewhere else. If you want a good bed, good aircon, great food and hospitality at the restaurant right on the beach then stay here. The shower was hit and miss but for about...

Stayed here for just one night in a supposed deluxe beach bungalow. Room was clean enough and certainly only steps from the beach but overall the place just looks tired, worn and dated. Everywhere looks as though it needs a good coat of paint and several gallons of bleach. Located just off the main road, its handy enough for the...

My room was on the building behind the main two buildings. Those rooms are cheaper and still have same amenities as more expensive pool and beachside rooms. The pool was very dirty for 3 days of my stay. Overall this is one of my favourite destinations, just don't expect too much and you will be rewarded! I chose to eat...

i had my children and grandchildren join with me at this hotel for a visit and it was so comfortable for us all. This hotel is so perfectly placed both for the beach as well as the village. And the reason it was a big hit with the children was the freedom that it afforded them. The kids could head down...

.....if you stay in room SK1! Room SK1 is quite literally 2 steps from the beach and the verandah/balcony overlooks the beach......so that's pretty perfect. We arrived for our first week on Koh Samui and stayed in room SK3 which was fine and about 20 feet from the beach. We then went to Koh Tao and returned here for the...

This is a great place for short and long stay rates. Comfortable, easy going, on a great beach, terrific pool, good resturant, in the center of the beach and also of the village. The rooms are good -- well appointed, better than basic, with good A/C units and bathrooms. A superior experience once again. Knowing this beach very well, this...

Just very average. Nothing good & nothing bad to say really. I stayed in a superior room, superior being in the eye of the beholder. The beholder of that eye having only seen inferiority, putting something average together & declaring it superior. But it was clean, everything worked, area felt safe, so no complaints. Location wise, the beach is great,...

It's comfortable. It's homey. It's not a frilly place. It's reasonable. It's within a few steps to the beach, with an attentive staff, a good restaurant, and a great pool. What more can one ask for? This is run by a Choeng Mon family who has ties throughout Samui. It respects its customers and offers good value to all who...
