I confess we were in some fear with the Reservation of this hotel, as we had read some less positive reviews, and as we had booked seven nights, we wanted everything to go well! Today we can say that we could not have chosen better, everything was excellent.
This hotel is located on the first line of the beach.

Room: we booked a superior room with balcony, the room was huge and the wc also (equipped with bathtub and shower).
The room was equipped with TV, refrigerator, coffee and water stored every day, kettle, clothes rack, room slippers, rain/sun hats, a basket to take to the beach, safe, toilet amenities stored daily, hairdryer.
Every day the room was impeccably clean and clean, and the towels set.
Our room was very well located, opposite the pool and very close to the restaurant and beach.

Restaurant: breakfast was good and every day there was news and replacement whenever something was finished.
We had lunch and dinner there several times and we loved it. The food was great, very well prepared, the price was taken into account.

Common areas: every day they took care of common spaces, always clean and preserve them. The pool is spectacular, with very hot water, our daughter loved it.

Beach: The hotel is located on the first line of the beach, which is spectacular. In front of the hotel the beach has no rocks and is sandy. The beach water is equally warm and very calm, ideal for children!
The hotel has stand up paddle boards that guests can use for free.
There are also sun loungers and towels available for free.
Near the hotel there is a concession with water sports (water, bananas and boys).
Also has sellers on the beach, with bracelets, towels, beach items, bathing sweaters. The sellers are not insistent and are very polite.

Other services: the hotel has a massage area, which we also tried and was positive.
It has laundry service, and sells other services such as transportation, excursions...

In short, it was a very good stay, today I know we could not have chosen better, treated us very well and on a next visit we will not hesitate to choose this hotel.
Thank you very much to the gentleman who works at the restaurant, an older gentleman, always very attentive and professional.
They could improve the sun loungers, which are already a little old.

This review is based totally on our experience of booking a BEACHFRONT BUNGALOW, we did not see any of the other rooms or the resort as a whole so unable to comment on that.
Although the staff we met at PS Thana were lovely and helpful I just wanted to caution others thinking of booking the beachfront bungalow -
We booked the beachfront bungalow directly with the hotel after seeing photos on their website. We were prepared for the accommodation to be basic, this is reflected in the price. However, on checking in we realised that there are two beach bungalows , one is facing the beach with a small seating area looking out to the beach /sea - not at all private as there are rows of sunlounges steps away from you ( not shown on website photos) However the other bungalow is at the back of this one NOT beachfront. There is a small window but this has no view at all. The outside seating area looks out onto restaurant /reception .
We felt that the photos online were misleading as they only show one of the bungalows. If youre just looking for a base at a resort, a clean room for a cheap price then this would fit the bill. However it wasn’t what we thought we had booked. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check out (a refund was processed 7 days later ) but as all the other rooms in the resort were fully booked we then had to find alternative accommodation at very short notice, not a great start to our holiday in Koh Samui. On a positive note we spoke to people who were staying at the PS Thana and they loved it, it was just a shame we were unlucky with our accommodation.

We only stayed for a couple of nights either side of visit to Phangan but were impressed.
The rooms are large clean and comfortable, impressed with the bed and bathroom, with ample storage facilities. They also come with little useful 'extras', e.g. umbrella and torch. The balconies are large and quiet. The area is surrounded by greenery, the gardens are well maintained.
We found the breakfasts good and the dining room clean with staff always around to help.
Although we never used the pool it is in a pleasant setting with adequate seating.
We never had any difficulty in getting a sun bed but can agree with some of the comments that towels and mattresses would benefit from replacement. There is adequate space on the beach to move the beds around. Overall we were happy with the beach facilities.
Staff were pleasant and helpful other than 1 occasion when asked if we could have a late checkout, this was at a time when the hotel was almost empty, I received a prompt response that checkout was 12.00 and to leave our cases in reception, however I later spoke to another member of staff who had no difficulty with my request.

It's a nice place, beautiful bay, friendly staff. We have been there three times. But we will not come again as long as they rent out sunbeds before the sun rises to outsiders from other hotels, we pay 3000 to stay in the hotel, those who come from outside pay only 100 bath and then they take the best sunbeds, talked to others there were dissatisfied people who suggested we get up at 3am. to get a sunbed.

Second time staying at this hotel and will be the last
Good points
1, Beach is lovely
2, Nice size rooms
3, Nice Pool
Bad Points
1, No good interaction with management very poor guest experience asked for an iron and response was ridiculous almost shouting at me for asking.
2, Breakfast very poor cold food as hot plates were never turned on or put on later all food was cold.
3, some staff just not friendly and not very helpful.
4, Beach towels were disgusting would be better used as rags .
5, Sunbed mattresses split not clean and leaking real bad smell totally rotten.
6,Beach sun beds we’re rented to outside people before guest can even get one.

As you can see there is a 4.5 star reviews for this hotel I don’t understand how that is possible such a shame as could be great but down to very poor management from the owners.

We have recently stayed for 6 days at the PS Thana and can thoroughly recommend it. It is very good value for money compared to some of the other accommodations in the Choeng Mon area. We had a Pool-side Villa and it was more than adequate for our requirements. Everything worked perfectly. We had self-catering facilities (not that we used them ourselves) but useful if you wanted to cook in sometimes.

Breakfast was a bit limited but enough to keep us going until lunchtime!

Thanks to Peang, her mum and the PS Thana Team and a special shout-out to Jackie Chan for his sense of humour and friendliness!

We actually preferred staying here rather than the big hotel further down the beach where we stayed for our second week! PS Thana had a generally better vibe and atmosphere probably because it's more compact!

We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return again at some time!

The family run Hotel/Resort embodies the Thai hospitality, and empathy to perfection!
If you need „infinity pool“, or „imposing“ structures, then by all means go seek such accommodations. Koh Samui has plenty.
But if you appreciate accommodations that are clean, well kept, that blend in to the island landscape and style, and want direct beach access, then by all means do (!) book this resort!!! You will be made to feel special and in good/caring hands!!

This resort is on the beach. Our room number 106 was about 25 yards from the sea. The rooms are quite spacious, and so are the balconies. The restaurant was two steps up from the beach and sitting there at breakfast in the warmth of the sun, looking out at the wonderful view was a joy.
The beach is about 500 metres long, and is great for a morning stroll. The many You Tube videos on Choeng Mon beach do not do it justice.
We tried a number of different restaurants in the evenings, but our favourites were Mr. Eung and Krua Thai.
Directly opposite the entrance to the resort is a small bar called “Shaker” run by a lady called Noi. She is a lovely lady and we had some great nights there. We also had a memorable night in the “Cocktail King” on a Thursday night when they have live entertainment with a singer called Rob.
We hired a car,one day, and went around the island. We finished up in the Fisherman Village and had a meal in one of the restaurants on the beach.

It is poorly maintained and the staff, especially at the beach service is
really not very polite. The umbrellas and sunbeds are very close and yet they also rent sunbeds by the day to people who are not from the hotel. Another absurd thing is the fact that they allow umbrellas and sunbeds to be occupied at 6 in the morning by people who then show up on the beach at 11 or even don't even come. The swimming pool is full of children's toys, colored plastic ones... a real visual pollution! The breakfast is poorly maintained and a bit poor. Too bad, the potion is excellent. The value for money is not good

During the Covid crisis we found ourselves on Ko Samui for 5 weeks and booked into PS Thana Resort as we had been there before and knew it was and is a lovely place. Just picking up this again as I left it unfinished. We travelled back to PS in February 21 and still received a fantastic welcome. The owners have kept the place open and carried on employing their staff even through these harsh times. If you get the chance you should go and support them too. It isn't charity, this is the best beach on the Island!

As far away as possible. You would come to this resort to get away from that area, except for a brief visit. There are so many better areas to visit on Ko Samui. But it is about 10 mins away. Hire a scooter for the day. We did and went round the whole island. Fun and interesting.

Массажных салонов полно, как и везде в Таиланде. Я честно говоря никогда ими не пользовался, но стоимость обычно от 400 до бесконечности за час. В среднем 400-700.
