Nice little quit hotel.Only minus if you live here, is that you need to rent a motorbike or a car. About 10 min from the walking street. Clean room, and very good service. I have to go there again.
Kind regards
Michael

We arrived on Koh Samui on the ferry from Surathani after a mindless overnight bus trip from Bankok, having decided to visit Koh Samui on a whim. With no place arranged to stay we asked around and learned that Chaweng beach was a wonderful long beach. After dropping off our wives, I wandered the beach looking for places to stay. The third place we visited was PS Villas. We opted for non-airconditioned rooms. It is hot, but with a cieling fan we did not have any trouble sleeping. PS Villas have airconditioned rooms available for a little extra.

PS Villas is awesome. Right on the beach, with a wonderful little courtyard. We had breakfast of at their beach front cafeteria every morning, before spending the entire day on the beach, or exploring Samui. It was a really good stay for the money.

We booked for three nights at P.S. Villa, but ended up staying for 11 days. The hotel is on Choeng Mon Beach, so as soon as you woke up you could stroll to the restaurant and have breakfast gazing at the white sanded beach and clear sea. There are mainly expensive resorts on this lovely beach, so the few budget aircon bungalows of P.S. Villa offers are of great value at a rate of 650 Baht per night. They also offer more expensive luxury rooms if you don't mind spending some extra. The staff is friendly and service as well as the food is good. Only minor comment is that the bed in the bungalow we stayed in, was very hard. But hey, you don't here us complaining, a firm beachside massage fixes all the minor muscle ache complaints.

The resort is nothing like the fancy ones which everybody know. But they have a nice pool, restaurant and an own stretch of the beach. Everything you need. The people are nice and friendly. Nobody from housekeeping calling you on the phone or knocking several times to make up the room. Wifi works too. We had a spacious villa with a real reasonable price. We moved for several reasons from the imperial boat house and never regretted the decision so far.

We stayed here to start this years Thailand holiday.

The resort is continually being upgraded with better villas, having beach frontage. The grounds are well maintained with a new pool area still being finished.

We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow near the pool area, just a short walk to the beach. The bungalow was large and very clean. A king size bed was provided which was very soft for Thailand standards. The bathroom was large with a seperate bathtub. Water pressure was also good, we never ran out of hot water.

There are also two bedroom villas in this resort.

We had breakfast included in our booking. The variety of food on offer is adequate for this priced resort.

Our stay at PS Thana Resort (now P S Villa) would have been much better if it wasn't for the poorly trained staff.

We had arranged for the resort to pick us up from the airport, this was confirmed twice via emails. We waited for over an hour at the airport but no one turned up. So we had to arrange our own transfer.

When we finally got to the resort, the staff member at reception informed us she was to busy to go and pick us up. If you are unhappy with that go stay somewhere else. We advised the unhelpful lady we had booked this resort and where going to stay here.

The next morning we went down to the beach for an early morning swim, placing our beach towels and belonging on two beach chairs and went for a swim. When we got back our belongings had been moved to different chairs and reserve signs place on the original chairs. Having had enough of this treatment we confronted the manager and explained what had happened. The manager just disregarded our conversation.

Occupancy rates where very low and management did not understand why people where not returning.

Stay here bye all means, but until the resorts management improves staff training and treats guests as guests. Look for a better run resort.

First, Choengmon Beach is a special place in Koh Samui. It is a laid back village, without the hype and seedy undertones of Chewang. It doesn't have the hype, traffic or scammers of Chewang. There is a wide range of accommodations in the village. After 5 trips, I can say that PS Villas offers very good value for the money.
They recently built a new pool and many other facilities that are quite nice.
The rooms are large and the air conditioning is good. The bathroom has both a large tub and a separate shower. The beds are not as rock-hard as is the norm in Thailand, so it is a little more comfortable for westerners.
The breakfast is not fancy, but it is fine and there are multiple choices. I like the American breakfast and the banana pancakes. I think some of the other reviews are a little harsh on the breakfast. For the price of the hotel, it can't be beat.
The staff tries really hard and what they lack in service, they make up for in being honest hardworking people. Peang and her staff are always ready to try and understand us westerners with a small and a good heart that is the essence of Thailand.

I like this place and did stay here for the second time. Choeng moon has one of the best beaches on Samui. PS Villa is located right on the beach, they offer a very good food.

Even the price of 2000 thb/night with BF looks a bit high for the first look, if you compare the surroundings and the Chaweng area, you find out that is is worth to stay there. Even the confort is at a level of a 4 star hotel there.

First time we have stayed at the resort, good choice and value for the price paid. Pool villa was spacious, clean with comfy bed, good Wi-Fi and all the amenities required provided. Lovely pool area, breakfast was adequate and served overlooking the bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, special mention to Anna, Jackie, Tony and Chai for making our stay most memorable.

First time at P S Vila’s as for the last fifteen years we have stayed at The Boathouse which is closed for renovation, we knew it wouldn’t be the same standard but for the price we were more than happy. Good value for money, staff friendly and helpful, rooms really clean and the location perfect right on the beach lovely pool area too. I really liked having breakfast while looking over the bay it was lovely. Breakfast was not.a huge choice but again more than enough. Extra mention to Anna and Chai. Location excellent, service good and slept like a baby. . Would we stay again - without a doubt YES.

The rooms at PS Villa are clean, well air conditioned and reasonably priced. PS Villa is beach front. But what I like best is the kindness of the staff. They will take care of you and provide whatever you want. I have stayed there many times over the last few years and my stays keep getting betting. Thanks to Paeng and the rest of the staff. I think they are the best place to stay on Choeng Mon beach, no matter the price.
