We had a wonderful stay at Sala Samui thanks to Timo Künzli (GM). Sala Samui is a beautiful, well kept and clean resort. The staff very helpful and very friendly. Ideal for couples with or without children also very suitable resort for special occasions. Breakfast has a great selection at the buffet and also has a recommendable a la carte option. The resort is located on the most beautiful and largest beach of Samui, Choengmon Beach. In a few minutes walk you can reach various restaurants.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at! The pool villas are a hop & skip away from the amazing private beach & two resort pools! A very relaxing 7 days when we hardly left the resort! Highly recommend this hotel, you feel like you are somewhere else, very quiet resort! Don’t hesitate you must book this hotel! The breakfast & dining plus happy hour is also superb you don’t need to leave, definitely a must in Koh samui… Actual paradise !

This is a superb hotel! We stayed 5 nights in a Sala pool villa which provides for utmost privacy in a somewhat tropical feel setting whilst standing in the grounds of the hotel. The villa had its own small pool that you can step out into either from the bedroom or outside located bathroom. The design of this villa to ensure outside privacy from other villas through to the interior design applied in the room is all very clever, I take my 'hat off' to the architects and designers. The hotel itself is just fabulous, our villa was all of a 2 minute walk to the 2 pools (1 for adults only) and restaurant area that sits on the cusp of the beach offering an amazing view of the curved bay from the comfort of your sun loungers. Staff all wonderful and the food and drinks served were all excellent. We will definitely recommend to our friends and consider returning back at some point in the future. …

We have stayed there for 10 days and were really satisfied will all services. Hotel rooms are something special with outdoor bathroom and we appreciate private pool which is perfect if you have children. You have various options for breakfast and all options were good.

Actually went with my 3yr old daughter. 2nd trip to Samui, 2nd stay at Sala Choengmon. The resort is fantastic. From the driver (Hotel transfer) to the Front Desk staff, to the housekeeping staff and lastly F&B staff, each and everyone was great! This is not a paid ad (I wish it was). But the service there is great (its no ritz carlton, but the stay is worth every dollar which you have spent on). Our family enjoyed ourselves a lot. And our daughter loves going into our own pte pool and if she could, spend every minute in there. The location isn't too bad. With restaurants and eateries just a good 5min walk out of the resort if you are looking for cheaper local options. And with a 24hrs convenience store about 10mins walk away as well. Overall, Sala Choengmon would be the only resort I will go to whenever I travel back to Samui…

This is a truly lovely hotel in a great location, we will definitely be back. My wife and I stayed in a deluxe garden room. I will list all the items that may be helpful to other travellers:- - Room is traditional style, looks great - Free turn down service each night, including flavoured teas, gorgeous - Four poster bed, really comfy, choice of pillows from menu - King sized day bed on balcony overlooking garden, fan on ceiling, great for chilling or enjoying room service - Bathroom, toilet, safe and wardrobes are separate to room and are outside, no air-conditioning. This was our only downside as it was too warm and a bit awkward to go on and out, especially if you needed to use loo late at night. We got used to it, though. - TV has a few English-speaking channels - Wifi good in rooms - Free coffee making via Nespresso machine - Free nuts and raisin snacks - Mini bar well stocked and not too expensive The hotel and facilities:- - Staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and are always available. They make your stay a real pleasure - Adult pool and adult/children's pool, so warm and never too many people in them because hotel is right on the beach and most people swim in the sea - Lots of padded sun loungers and umbrellas of high quality - Lots of day beds - Free water delivered to your sun lounger - Breakfast is beautiful with free a la carte dishes and buffet, it goes til 11am too! Overlooking beach! - Spa, gym, massage etc, we didn't use them though, but all looked great - Beach is picturesque, it's in a cove, there are bars, cafes and restaurant beside hotel - Vendors walk around beach selling hats, ice cream, jewellery - Beach vendors can give pedicures or manicures at your sun lounger - Can paddle your legs in sea directly in front of hotel but to swim you need to avoid coral and move 50m to the right - Sea is so warm, it's like a bath! - Great choice of cocktails available at happy hour (2 for 1) - Plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars on street outside hotel, also ATMs too This is a true 5-star experience, a really, really great hotel. …

We had the most beautiful, amazing time at SALA, the whole experience was beyond what we hoped. Some of the key points we thought were very special: Breakfast buffet was spectacular and made even better by being able to order from the added menu options (great idea to manage wastage and the portions were perfectly sized) The bloody mary and sparkling wine option was a very nice touch also! There were so many different areas to relax between the two pools with cabanas, daybeds and sunbeds and the sunbeds and bean bags on the beach. Then even more in the bar area. It kept it interesting to have a new view every day. We have never spent so much time in the hotel on a holiday! The app was a fantastic way of knowing what was on and available and the messaging side of it was so quick and responsive. The spa services and the free yoga classes. The room attendants obviously took note that we used a lot of water and mosquito coils and kept us well stocked. And all of the staff were just so lovely, friendly, really took an interest and time to talk to us each day and remembered our room number. Having our own private pool was the best way to end a day having a swim before we retired for the night. Overall, an exceptional experience!!! Thankyou so much for having us.…

Best Hotel in Samui for Couples and also for Families. This was our second stay and we loved it even more than in 2019. Maybe because of the new Manager Timo and some new staff and also a big Thank you to Amanda and the whole team @Breakfast, they did an amazing job concerning the Outstanding Service and with our two Boys. We love the Sala Breakfast, every day there are new specials on the a la carte menu and no matter what we tried and we tried a lot, everything just tasted amazing. We stayed in a Sala Pool Villa, the rooms need some updates for sure but everything is very clean and cozy and we just felt like coming home. We will come back for sure!!
