I stayed at the Rock apartment with my wife and 2 children (13 and 12) In February 2023. The apartment was excellent value and is approx 2 minute walk from the main hotel with a supermarket and lovely bakery just next to the main hotel. The apartment itself was safe, clean and well equipped with 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. The staff at the main hotel were very welcoming and helpful and walked us to the apartment on our arrival. The main hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace that you can use as well. The hotel/apartment is less than a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station and we could walk to Monistiraki Square in around 15 minutes and roughy the same to the Acropolis slopes and museum. If your looking for a well equipped and inexpensive base to explore Athens and still relax in relative comfort after a long day then I thoroughly recommend this apartment and the friendly staff.…
We had a great 3 night stay in Sept 2022. It is in a good location with restaurants close by and only a short walk to the Acropolis . There is a supermarket next door and a super bakery opposite that did good take away coffee and great pastries. Our room was small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good . The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful . The roof terrace was a nice place to wind down with a beer after a long day of walking round Athens
A modern hotel in the heart of Athens. Spacious and clean rooms with excellent breakfast. Perfect location, just 7mins away form Monastiraki square. Friendly staff and always available to help you. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and cozy accommodation in the center of Athens.
We had a great few days in Athens staying at Be My Guest, and the friendly support of the team at BMG was a factor in this. They were happy to help to receive a delivery for us, enable us to leave early for a day trip and to store our bags on our unexpectedly longer final day in Greece (a side benefit of cancelled flight!) Breakfast was great, with good use of reusable glass etc. for jam, butter, etc. and some delicious yoghurt, fruit and pastries (we've since looked up a recipe for the filo triangles!) The only real drawback for us was that the pavements in the area were tricky to navigate with a wheelchair - the hills we coped with OK. But appreciate that this is not the hotel's responsibility and once we were 100m east and into the main areas of Athens things improved. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk was a real benefit - most with Acropolis views. Talking of which we loved the mural on the rooftop terrace! Also easy to access the Metro - 10 minute walk from Kerameikos, 5 minutes from Thissio. Air conditioning in the hotel was excellent - cool from the moment you enter the front door - and very welcome in 35+ degrees. Thank you to everyone on the team for a great first visit to Greece!…
A modern, clean and friendly hotel within a stones throw of all the highlights of Athens. The staff could not do enough for us from recommending where to grab some food, to resolving a small issue we had with our room in no time. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice base whilst exploring Athens.
We stayed in the Be My Guest apartment opposite the main hotel. We booked through booking.com and the apartment is nothing like the pictures. The air conditioning was broken, the fixtures and fittings were tired and unfinished (see pictures). We complained to the manager, who was rude and uninterested in our complaints
Great staff, comfortable room and hotel and location. George, Chrysa, Maria and Mara were so helpful. Awesome breakfast! Rooftop hangout with views to die for. Picturesque narrow streets. Easy walk to Parthenon and other ancient sites. Lots of cool shops nearby. Check out the bakery across the street.
We had the pleasure to spend one week of easter holidays with our kids (10J and 14J) at BE MY GUEST and the name is our experience: A mix of good, modern design, professionality like in high end hotels but with relaxed, warm and authentic friendliness. Many Greek people are nice anyhow, but each person of the service stuff at BE MY GUEST is really special. Apart oft that: The best central location at the hearth of Athens, close to Metro, Acropolis and restaurants but quiet to sleep well, wonderful roof terrace with a side view to Acropolis. A perfect experience visiting Athens. Our kids loved it as we did.
Located just next to the Akropolis, in a safe and quiet area you have the opportunity to explore all of Athens and around. Best of both worlds: budget and relaxing in fully equipped rooms (comfortable beds, bath, erc.)
We stayed in the annex building, that is just across the road. The flat is quite big with a comfortable sitting room and long balcony. There’s a very handy supermarket just opposite, a bakery and various restaurants within a short walk. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly; breakfast was delicious and everything was really clean and cosy.
