A great stay at the Hotel Tier Collection. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and modern with a huge terrace/balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness was fine, spotlessly clean throughout. The hotel is perfect for a weekend break being close to the city centre and having the metro a few minutes away and train station around 10 minute walks away. Noise wise it's on a quiet side street, not noisy at all. There's lots of nice bars and restaurants in the area, so no need to travel far of an evening. Be advised the area a few streets away from the hotel towards the city on foot isn't great, best to be avoided, especially at night. We encountered no problems though. Would definitely stay at the Hotel Tier again.

Stayed there for a couple of nights and I couldn’t ask for more. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was helpful. Surrounding streets can be a little sketchy but the hotel is quite close to the subway, so it’s a 5-min walk to everywhere. Would definitely stay again!

The room was ok. If lunch is included it is served next door. The neigbourhood has a lot of drug addicted people are are not nice to walk through towards city centre. Even the police recommended a long extra route to avoid the danger of such groups. Finally the bed was new, but almost as hard as concrete. I used a blanchett to lay on to soften it as they could not help with an extra blanchett to sleep under, therefore it betale cold nights. The food at Tasty Corner was fantastic. (Some 300 meters away)

The images of this hotel are not representative of the experience you will receive. I was mis-sold completely. The hotel is in a poor state, the rooms and dirty, it is located in a very seedy, dangerous area of Athens and the management and staff were not helpful in the slightest.

Actually, the only attractive side is the price. Being relatively centrally located, this hotel doesn't offer much: The room is relatively small and simply furnished. The bathroom is teeny tiny, but new and modern. Everything seems to be really clean. The staff is friendly, however, not very efficient: They only prepare breakfast on demand. Although I'd ordered breakfast for the next morning twice, there wasn't any available. The day of my departure in the early morning, the receptionist didn't bother to unlock the door himself, but yelled at me from the first floor to 'open the door'. As an elderly woman, I had to crawl on the floor to unlock their front door....this is not a good way of doing your job. However, the cheap price is pretty much unbeatable, albeit you should be aware that you are staying in a pretty rough neighborhood. This area is definitely not for everyone - I would not want to stay there with kids.

A nice choice for a budget-friendly 1-night stopover in Athens. We picked this hotel exactly because it was in close proximity to the railway station and commute to the airport was therefore convenient. The room was fine, there is an elevator. Unfortunately, we were not able to purchase breakfast, as we were leaving before it is served. One drawback - it was a little noisy at night. Otherwise, it is a completely decent option for a 1-night stay.

For our first time in Athens we were skeptical on finding a nice hotel for an affordable cost. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and did a brief 3 day stay in Athens before heading to Santorini. We came across Tier Collection during our research and based on the price, reviews, and location we decided to book here. We were extremely glad that we did! The hotel seemed recently renovated and the atmosphere was very comfortable and does not match the outer street it is on. The rooms were proper size for the cost, we knew this going in and didn’t mind as if your in Athens the only time you should need your room is to rest and change. They were also very clean, comfortable beds, good working AC and also provides daily clean up upon leaving your key at the front desk but this is optional. The only downside I would say is the inside walls are paper thin and the halls echo. So if your in bed and someone loud (maybe like ourselves) come in at 3 AM you are definitely going to hear them. Other than that the hotel was a great. Staff was super nice, spoke good English and was very accommodating. The locals will tell you the area is not the safest but we felt no issues and walked down to local taverns throughout the night. I would greatly recommend this for travelers who are just looking for a clean nice room and knows the size is simply for practicality.

The Tier Hotel is a very friendly place to stay. The staff were brilliant when I had my wallet stolen, on my first night, a couldn't have been more helpful throughout my stay. Room was clean and bright. A lovely Balcony/terrace( I guess about 4M by 6M) to relax and enjoy a drink. The hotel is close to the Metro and Hop-On/Hop-Off city tour bus. I went on the yellow, Grayline bus, and had several tours around the city and down to the Athens Riviera, €20, for 3 days, deal. Would recommend to those on a budget.

The owner of this hotel is very rude. On our last night in Athens, he told us to go back to China! When we told him we are Americans, he told us to go back to America! This treatment is unacceptable, please do stay here.
