If you look at the other poor reviews of this hotel on this site, the manager's reply is always that the Greek Tourist Board gave it five stars, hence its rating. The standard must be pretty poor in Greece. Let me assure you this is three stars max with five star prices. Breakfast at 22 Euro is way overpriced and...

An excellent hotel in an excellent location with a wonderful view over Athens and plenty of nice cafés and restaurants nearby. We were truly made to feel welcome. Thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely go back.

Good breakfast in a dining room with fantastic views over Athens and particularly the Acropolis. Good central location but, being high on a hill, hard for pedestrians. Limited lunch menu. Good garage which is a blessing in Athens where it is impossible to find a parking space. Helpful staff.

I'm not happy at all. They refuse to wave the cancellation fee for me. I did not get the visa so I had to cancel 4 days before the check in day. It was a high demand week and for sure they could have someone else take the room.

Our room was bad. It was just next to the front door. It was so noisy and all the traffic sounds and lights were in our room. Since we were traveling with a baby it was so hard to put her sleep in this circumstances.

The view from our balcony of the Acropolis just can't be beat! The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions about what to do and see. The breakfast that was included was an amazing buffet that had a little bit of everything! My only complaints would be that the bed wasn't very comfortable, which is a personal...

I stayed here twice on a recent tour to Greece. Each room in this hotel is a bit different, my first room was quite small but my second room was larger. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, had a hair dryer and lovely bath amenities. This hotel is situated on the hillside next to Mount Lycabettus and is an easy walk...

Very friendly reception staff, breakfast was ok, the terrace on the 6th.floor is awesome. Our small double room was old, partly refurbished with a window to a patio with very loud conditioners. When planning to stay here, try to book a new room. The location is nice - many good restaurants & bars & around. Prices for beverages on the...

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
