We spent a week at Athens Green Apartments and are very pleased we did so. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and contained everything needed. The situation is in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of all the tourist stuff, transport, restaurants and a supermarket a 5 min walk away. Christina and Dimitri were both incredibly helpful and really made...

Healthy location... you can make sport till Syntagma Square. But you can use the way through National Garden. The staff friendly and helpful. Near to the apartment it's a good supermarket and also a bakery/pastry.

Stayed here in September and we were impressed with the size and finish of our apartment given the price paid. The shower was a particular highlight as was the free fruit on arrival. Didn't have much time but went a walk around the local area where there are some nice bars and restaurants including a great pizza place recommended to...

We stayed in apartment #3. This had a big bedroom with twin beds and a lounge with a sofa bed. We let the kids have the bedroom and we had the soft bed which we kept as a bed during our visit. The apartment came with all the facilities that we needed including tea/coffee (ground), washing up liquid, oil etc....

This apartment is an ideal place to stay in Athens. It is within a walkable distance to everything you would want to see in the city, but is in a more quiet, residential area that gives you a great look at local life in Athens. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Spiros was a great host and provided many...

This apartment was such a treat! It is centrally located to all the places you would like to walk to - the Parthenon, Plaka district, the square, etc. The place itself is quite roomy - it was equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, separated bedroom and also balcony. Spiros, the gentleman we had coordinated everything with, was...

We stayed in Studio 4 and it was perfect for a couple. It has a sofa and could easily accommodate a child but would be a bit tight for 4 people. It's on the first floor so you only need to walk up a short flight of wide stairs. The windows face away from the main street so it's very...

Our host Spiros was just amazing from the moment we arrived, super helpful with information about the local area and Athens in general. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well equipped and the bed was big and comfortable. The location is great, close enough to not be a problem to walk to things but far enough away to be peaceful. Would...

Staying in Pangrati

Neighbourhood Profile
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
