This is a perfectly good hotel in its own category. It does not pretend to be luxurious, but does very well for a shorter visit without breaking the bank. The rooms are smallish and bathrooms tiny, but sufficiently well equipped and pristine. Yes, the floor gets wet when showering, but bathmats are available and in the summer heat the room... More

We attended at an international convention of Jehovah's Witnesses and we accomodated in this hotel. During our stay there the whole staff was extremely attentive and flexible. We have much appreciated their work. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, we were very satisfied with everything. Thanks again to everyone, especially Korahai Margarita, the administrator... More

Staff is great and very helpful especially Christos and George, rooms are nice and clean and the ambience is very good.Breakfast is good and room service is prompt. The only negative is the location which is very rundown and is eerily lonely. Not many restaurants around and the ones nearby dont offer much food choices.Very close to the archealogical museum though which... Arriving 2 days early, (because we fly standby), we didn't have a room reserved. Someone had told us the name of this hotel. We took our chanes and taxied there at 6 pm. There were three of us, my grandson, husband and I. No luck... all full, but there was a nice bar there, so I decided to try my... More

We had to change plans and arrived in Athens around 9.30 after getting up at 4 a.m. We had no problem with early check in and when I said we will miss another Greek breakfast the following day (also getting up at 4 am to catch a flight) the receptionist (George) offered the breakast that day. The hotel is not... More

A perfect hotel to stay at in Athen for experiences this nice City. Short to restaurants, city center and short to Metro to reach Everything, also the Airport - very easy. Most of the people in reception are very kind to help you with everything.

The location is good, central, with the underground station very close and of course taxis. The rooms and the lobby are nothing special., the price is very reasonable. What is indeed special is the concierge, George, and his help, Christos, who really know everything you might wish to know or need, and they are eager to help with directions, schedules,... More

It is well kept hotel, in a shady neighborhood. It is around 15 minutes walk from omonia metro station, but not advised to walk from there to the hotel in night. By cab it'd merely be around 3-4 Euros to reach the hotel from metro. There were many policemen patrolling around, and we later knew that the area is high... More

Well-kept hotel. Friendly personnel. Good and pleasant breakfast. Tidy and comfortable rooms at more than reasonable rates. Perfect situation to visit the archeological museum. Other visits possible on foot or by metro. Restaurants nearby (5 minutes on foot), personally I would recommend the Rozanía restaurant, friendly, genuine, good prices. We stayed there twice and no regret, whatsoever!

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
