Not too bad but agree with comments re Internet. We mostly had Greek sales and similar so food okay. Also staff unwilling to help us confirm transfer to airport, we do not speak Greek. They said " not our problem" Would not go back.

This was our first stay in Athens in 25 years and hoped for a really good experience. The rooms were really terrible- airconditioner broken, tiles in bathroom held on with dirty old putty, bed and pillows uncomfortable, no tea/coffee facility, minibar that was not cold plus having to pay a fortune for WIFI. It was not a good experience. On...

Great location right in the heart of Athens. Good staff. Rooms are ordinary. Beds are very small and barely adequate for two people. Expect very basic amenities in the room. No coffee, no kettle, no lotions, no conditioner, quirky hair drier etc.

From the Ground Floor area this looks like a five star place. Quite convenient location too. Excellent views of the Acropolis from the top floor bar. Food at Breakfast and in the Restaurant is not good. Waiters at breakfast are more interested in chatting to each other than attending to guests. Food is poor quality. The rooms facing the brick...

I made a circuit in Greece and was hosted twice at the hotel, the first time gave me a reasonable quarter, the second time they gave me a room in the catacombs, had to cross a hallway with cabinets of employees and cleanings and with beds articulated in the hallway, even very bad. the room was smaller, the bathroom also...

The rooms were like a typical Holiday Inn style- very simple, but clean & had a comfy bed. Bathrooms were a bit small but otherwise good. The lobby was beautiful & staff was helpful. But the hallways were dirty & gross. Overall, to be a "4 star hotel" it need some updates & improvements such as carpet, ceiling tiles, moldings.

My review may seem some what negative, but it's not really a bad hotel , in fact somethings are brilliant. First off good things....staff, especially roof top bar staff, are very good and friendly. Roof top bar is great, (if a little pricey... but in capital city and does have great view over Athens and the Parthenon) and cocktails are...

We are staying 10 days in Athens and chose the Titania for its central location for visiting the sites in Athens. The hotel is totally let down by its Wi-Fi internet service which is absolutely unacceptable in the 21st Century!! If you choose this hotel, best bring some smoke signals, they're faster than its internet!!!!!

The hotel is really well located for easy access to the metro, the shopping area and the Plaka. But sadly, that is about all it had going for it. The room was very basic. The bathroom was equally so. There was no coffee station/amenities in the room which wasnt great for our 6am departure - especially since the hotel breakfast...

The hotel is very well situated a few minutes from "Plaka" neighborhood. However, the rooms are not a real 4 star and the bathroom it is not clean at all. The terrace on the top of the building has amazing views over the city and the Acropolis. The restaurant is good but very expensive if you compare with other restaurants...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
