Will I be there again? YES. It is not a 5 star hotel but it is located in a convenient position not far from the metro station and at walking distance (15 minutes) from the very centre of Athens. Breakfast is nothing special but acceptable. Only major issue is the noise coming from the road, the windows are insulated but sometimes you get the noise of the "fastest" cars/motorcycles coming from the road just in front of the hotel.

Hotel is located around 5 minutes walk from Megaro Moussikis stop on the blue line which runs from Athens Airport. This line also will take you to the Acropolis and many of the other historic sites Hotel is located in a quite area with excellent and helpful staff. Many rooms have a balcony to relax on

Easy 15-20min walk from the city center, the hotel is a very good option if you don’t want to stay in the middle of the buzz and yet not be too far from it. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly. Haven’t tried the food/breakfast. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

We stayed for a week at this hotel and enjoyed our stay greatly. The room was very well appointed and quiet. The restaurant with the view of the Parthenon is certainly worth a visit. The breakfast room was very spacious and the selection was extensive. The bar has a lively but orderly ambience.

Pros: - Good attitude from the front desk reception staffs. There is always an attendant near the reception ready to help guest with their needs. - Nice spacious lounge bar in the lobby area. - Recognition for IHG Diamond Elite status (Upgraded to club floor room on the 6th floor along with free breakfast). - Breakfast is decent with a good view of the surrounding areas. - Luxurious bathroom accessories (e.g. Grohe taps) with a bathtub and a separate bidet. - Location is relatively near (approximately 5 mins walk) to the metro which is on the same metro line as the Athens airport. Cons: - Housekeeping forgot to top up the tea, coffee and bottled water during one of the days. - Standing in the bathtub to shower is uncomfortable and the half glass panel is not able to effectively prevent water from splashing out while showering. - Slightly expensive based on the value derived.…

I stayed some days because a a company convention. The hotel is in the city centre, very well connected , and overall , whit a very polite , professional and helping staff. Hall is very comfortable, rooms also if not too large also are comfortable and equipped for every needs, included boiler and tea, bathroom clean. Breakfast room on the roof is very spectacular, and breakfast also serve every need /taste. Wi fi working well. Rooms , as said, little bit small.

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights at the beginning of our trips and one night at the end. Location is very good with 10 min walk to metro station and several cafes and restaurants close by. Our room was bot upgraded during first stay, despite my platinum status, but we were upgraded to the nice executive room on the second stay. Breakfast is very expensive so we had them at cafes next door. Rooms were quite good, especially the second one. Staff responded promptly to our requests for extra towels, coffee etc. We would probably stay again in this hotel when back in Athens, unless Hilton reopens.

The Crowne Plaza on the surface is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we were booked into a room on one of the lower floors and had an intense sewer smell in our room. We asked to change rooms and they were accommodating. We got the impression that this was not unusual on the lower floors. Others in our group complained the next morning about a sewer odor in their rooms. Other than that, the room was lovely. We had several meals in the restaurant and found the food to be delicious-especially the salads. The staff in the restaurant and the desk were very nice.

Excellent location and courteous staff, comfortable rooms, and good breakfast offering value for money; however disappointed to find that the 3-course lunch and dinner menu is fixed on all 7 days, this could definitely be improved. The rooftop pool is good for children <7 yrs, however exceedingly small for bigger children and adults.
