Neighbourhood
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).

The only handicaps for this hotel are the space constraints that are part of the original building erected in the '70s. This means that rooms may by a bit smaller than average and that elevators are small. Other than that Radisson Blu Park shines in almost every way. Rooms are

We stayed during my birthday this month and they have upgraded our room as a kind gesture without me asking! How many hotels will do his nowadays? The room was so nice with a partial view of the park and the amenities were great. My wife likes the layout of the room and the

Dear Ronald B , Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback, it means a lot to my team and I. Our hotel’s location indeed holds a great advantage. We are neither too close to the busy city centre nor to far away and all the parts of Athens can be accessed very easily from our hotel, since we are only 5’ away from the closest metro station. I am very pleased you enjoyed our hotel and our terrace in particular. The 8th floor of our hotel is one our greatest assets and your kind words come as reward for our hard work. It is very pleasing to hear that you enjoyed our facilities during your stay with us. It is of great importance for our guests to feel relaxed in our premises from the very beginning of their stay by entering our lobby until the end of a tiring day . I’m really pleased you enjoyed the hotel and hope to welcome you back in the near future. Kind Regards Thanos Papadopoulos Front Office Manager

We booked a room with a view of the acropolis but unfortunately it was under their restaurant area on new years even. We were warned it would be noisy but had no idea of how bad it could be. It was impossible to sleep, even when we went to bed at 2am the music continued until 5

Dear Shayoon , Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay in our hotel. We consider our hotel’s location to hold a great advantage since we are only 5’ away from Victoria metro station that can take you all around Athens, but at the same time, as far away as required from the busy city center and right next to the leafy Pedion Areos Park. It’s disappointing to hear that the hotel didn’t meet with your expectations. Over the past years our hotel's ownership has spent a lot of time and effort to reshape the hotel and I believe that this is obvious in most of our spaces. Furthermore, all of our rooms are either refurbished or undergoing continuous refreshment and soon we trust that they will be on a very different level. I assure you this isn’t our usual standard and if we’re fortunate enough to have you stay with us again, you’ll see for yourself. Kind Regards Thanos Papadopoulos Front Office Manager

Hi .. how far is this hotel from the airport?
You can get to the airport by metro, but it takes time. I had to transfer trains twice and wait 20 mins for the second train. It took about 90 mins door-to-door this way.
