We booked this hotel as part of a package deal through a travel agency. Hotel is located in a not so great area and the rooms quite old-fashioned. When we woke up after the first night, we were both covered in 40-50 itching bed bug bites - not exactly a great start on a romantic 3-day getaway. When we complained...

I've been to Athens three times and always stayed at Hotel Balasca. The hotel is easily accessible (five-minute walk from Larissa metro station) and conveninetly located (lot of shops and Carrefour market in vicinity). But the main reason why we decided always to choose this exact hotel is the very big terrace with an amazing view. This made us want...

We stayed at Balasca three times whilst we were travelling Greece. The hotel itself is not in such a great place but the actual hotel is great. The staff were friendly and extremly helpful. The rooms were basic but it's what you expect at that sort of price. If you are travelling as a group I would recommend you book...

Thankfully we only had 1 night in this hotel on 30th July 2015. Just like all the other reviews with 4 persons staying in 1 room..this was a joke! 3 beds and 1 camp bed I can understand but not when you can hardly move in the room. The room felt old and haggared. The shower cubicle was so small...

When we arrived though we were pleasantly surprised. Room had everything you need... a bed, air conditioning, a bathroom, T.V with 2 English channels and even a little balcony...where you...

The underground and overground and walking distance. Buses, Trams, Trolleys and taxis are also very easy to find outside the hotel. The hotel itself...

We traveled as a group and stayed for 1 night at Balasca hotel. It is a basic 3 star hotel, clean, medium sized rooms, pretty well situated. Metro station is at a 5-7 min walk, bus station is right in front of it, city center and Acropolis is at a 45-60 min walk (so if you really want to, you...
