Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location (2 mins. walk from Acropoli metro station). Nice breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Clean room regularly serviced. If the rooms are a bit on the small size, they are QUIET - I slept very well at this hotel.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, loved it, so decided to stay there again this time for 2 nights. We weren't disappointed, everything was as good as we remembered. We found the service to be very good. Questions were answered in a professional, polite and helpful manner. We were tired the first night so had room service dinner from the hotel restaurant. The food was delivered by a very friendly young man and the food was very good. The room had lots of light (important to me), was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great as was the A/C. The buffet breakfast is held in a beautifully decorated room and the food is varied and plentiful. Even if you pay extra for it, their buffet breakfast is definitely worth any extra cost. The area is walkable to different restaurants (we went to God's Restaurant, having good memories of it 10 years ago) and easy to walk to the Acropolis and Museum.

We recently stayed at Hera Hotel for 3 nights Jan 14-17, 2023, prior to embarking on a Viking Mediterranean cruise. We were a party of eight adults, composed of family and friends This a lovely hotel, reasonably priced, situated in the city center with the Acropolis literally a block away. The rooms were immaculate, with large comfortable beds & quiet -no street noise. The staff was so accommodating - always ready to give recommendations for restaurants, directions to various sightseeing spots. On one occasion, we were directed to a nearby nail salon for an "emergency" nail repair! (hey, if you're a woman, you understand!). The included breakfast was excellent. We took advantage of their private pick-up from the Athens airport - reasonably priced and you were delivered to the front door - so appreciated after a 15-hour transatlantic flight. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit.

Lovely hotel and really close to the Acropolis and the old part of the city with lots of lovely little streets to explore. Great choice at breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. We visited the rooftop restaurant just for drinks and there is a great view of the Acropolis from there. Room clean and fit for purpose but we didn’t spend much time in the room as there is lots to see and do.

A really lovely hotel located perfectly for Acropolis. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The food was incredible, amazing choice of fresh food for breakfast and we ate dinner on the roof top terrace which was a fantastic experience.

Such a nice boutique hotel! It’s quiet and is within walking distance of The Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant is quite good and has a fantastic view of the Acropolis, especially at night. The staff at the front desk were unfailing friendly and helpful. One of them even arranged for a COVID test at our request by calling a service whereby a tester arrived on a motor scooter, administered the tests and provided the results, all in less than an hour! The breakfast buffet was quite good as well. Our room was very nice and reasonably priced.

The hotel was clean and very well located. We had three rooms booked for two nights. The hotel was helpful in making transfer recommendations. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and kind. I would look forward to staying here again if I visit Athens again.

My fiancé and I stayed at the hotel during the beginning of November 2022 and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The staff, food, and service were absolutely incredible and they were there for anything we needed 24/7. This is the perfect location for those wanting to tour Athens and the Acropolis, and very close to the metro, bus stops, and some great food and shops. We’re so glad we chose the Hera hotel and would recommend the hotel to everyone we know. Thank you to the Hera Hotel and their team!

Perfect location to Acropolis and all major sites, easy walking distance and short 3in walk to and from train station. Staff so friendly. Rooms are nice. If your not bothered about views, then just go for the cheaper option on room, there nice. Balcony, you pay, but don't expect much in views. Sports bar over the road, only sports bar in Athens. The breakfast.....I don't normally eat breakfasts in Europe because quite frankly there all the same and never any good, but this hotel is an exception, the breakfast was stunning! You won't be dissapointed. Lots of bars and food places over the road and your only 15 min walk into the centre. Strongly recommend here. The roof top bar is lovely. They have the covers and room on in Winter but summer, no doubt be unreal experience. We still had view of the Acropolis though. My only gripe with this, is they don't sell draft beer, but it's not a huge issue, there's still plenty of drink, wine, spirits, beer. Opens 4pm to 1am. Perfect to finish or start your night off.

This small hotel was ideally located just a half block from the Acropolis Museum, and a great central place to explore this part of Athens. The balcony, with a clear view of the Parthenon, was ideal for relaxing and taking in Athens after a long flight or a day walking. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The full breakfast had lots of variety, and a good start for a day of sightseeing. Restaurants were just steps away. We tried the rooftop restaurant, and there was a private party having dinner, but they quickly sat us at the bar and served us our drinks and dessert. Overall, we were quite pleased with our pick, and would recommend it highly!
