Detailed Reviews
I stayed this hotel from 12-14 June 2021, as a transit to island. It is a budget hotel but has quite few quality. The location is perfect! I took a coach from airport, and only few mins walk from bus stop. My arrival was almost midnight but receptionist was very friendly and told us wheee to eat. There are many places to drink or eat even after mid night. The room was clean and comfortable, quite spacious as a budget hotel. Water pressure was also very good! My bathroom was small, this was the only thing negative. I’m small and skinnyish but still had a difficulties to sit on toilet properly:D If you are taller, better to ask the hotel before booking. It’s not the most quiet hotel, you hear more internal noise than outside noise. My window was facing the square but the noise wasn’t too bad when the window was closed the woke up every time someone closed the door. Breakfast was good as review said. They serve one by one due to pandemic restriction so you might have to queue 10-20 mins but the quality was good. They had fresh yogurt, few vegetables, fruits also eggs, cheese, variety of bread. You can literally walk most of key sight seeing places so I was so glad to pick this hotel.

This was a lovely experience, very central right in Syntagma Square easy access to and from the airport (X95) and also to the main attractions! Nice staff at the reception, they even gave me a packed breakfast when I had an early morning checkout.
The room is nice and peaceful, all toiletries provided and hairdryer. Towels could be a tad cleaner. They make up the room very nicely each day.
Big lockers in the basement to store any valuables, small safe in your own bedroom. And a mini fridge.
Breakfast is nice usual items served up in the first floor restaurant. If you are claustrophobic don’t use the lift take the stairs feels a bit like you are about to be mummified but it gets you to your destination.
Per night about 66 euro with city tax included, you pay on the day of check in.
All in all a really great hotel!

Stayed here on a stopover. Very handily placed for transport to Airport and Port. Functional and clean. Friendly staff, polite and helpful. Usual Greek lifts if you're on upper floors. Breakfast is included and standard European fare but expected as there is a huge range of nationalities staying here. I was travelling alone and had booked a double. Not available so would a twin with a balcony be Okay? Yes it would!! Lovely view from high above the city. Roof bar not open, covid restrictions but no problem. Very good.

We visited Athens in August 2020. We booked our tours with Astoria Travel in Athens and Kosta, the owner, recommended the hotel ARETHUSA. The location is a 3-star hotel, the location is the best, the reception staff was very helpful and polite, and Vassili at the reservations department tried his best to confirm the bookings. We highly recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay in Athens.

We stayed for 5 nights this July. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had problems with the rooms but the staff gladly solved them even though we had to change rooms twice. A very good stay nontheless!
Ps. Due to the pandemic, you have to tell the kitchen staff what you want to have for breakfast and they'll bring to your table. Also hand sanitizers are readily available everywhere.

Hotel is in a great location, few mins walk from Syntagma Metro Station and within walking distance of Monasteraki and The Plaka district. The rooms were comfortable, hot showers, clean towels and a decent choice of breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We were given a room with a view of The Acropolis and there was an even better view from the roof garden, though this wasn’t in use yet. Would go back again.

Stayed at this hotel when we arrived in Athens as part of a Wingbuddy tour in September/2022. Only stayed here 1 night upon arrival and then again 1 night before we departed. Great location as it was within walking distance to the Parthenon and the Plaka where all the shops and restaurants are. The room was pretty basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. No balconies at this hotel and there was a bit of street noise but not too bad. The breakfast the first time we stayed was very sparse as we had to check out earlier than it actually started so they didn't put out all the food that they would normally. The 2nd time we stayed the breakfast was much better but still pretty basic. The elevator is tiny and slow which was challenging as we were part of a large group checking in. Not good for people who are claustrophobic. A nice bonus at this hotel is the rooftop patio which gives you an amazing view of the Parthenon. Unfortunately they haven't done anything to make it comfortable to hang out there although there were a few chairs and tables stacked up which we pulled out into the terrace. Just pick up a bottle of wine and some snacks and enjoy the view ! Staff were all very friendly. Would stay at this hotel again if it was for a couple of nights.

+1
Great location, short walking distance from X95 bus stop, 10 minutes walk from Monastiraki with a lot of dining options around the hotel. Room is spacious, air condition and wifi are strong. Toilet size is bearable for a short stay. Breakfast is good for a 3 stars hotel. Also don't forget to check out the hotel's terrace at top floor. I would give a 5 stars rating if the older staffs at reception are more friendly.

This hotel is very well located 100 m from Syntagma Square and the metro.
It is a simple hotel at a reasonable price, at €81 per room including breakfast which is varied and plentiful in May 2023.
The rooms are spacious, but without a balcony the street can be quite noisy.
Bathroom equipped with a shower with curtain, without a cabin it's a shame, and there is no place to put toiletry bags apart from a stool.
It's a hotel for passing through, but not for staying, you go there for its price and its location.
Remember to book very early, because its affordable price in Athens makes it very popular.

A decent hotel for a night or two. It has an excellent location in the heart of Athens, but the rooms could use a renovation and more soundproofing. The breakfast was basic and the coffee machine offered a lot of choices (espresso, cappuccino, latte etc.)
