Great Location with bare minimum facilities
If you want to stay in a location which is nearby to all tourist spots and beautiful plaka street with bare minimum facilities then this is a good option. Rooms and washrooms are two small but from balcony you...More
Very good hosts, small hotel with small rooms, but a balcony and the clean room makes you forget the size. "Size does not matter!"
Excellent location, everything possible on foot, breakfast OK on the rooftop! I'll use it again for overnight stay!

The Metropolis was in the perfect location to be able to easily walk to all the historical sites and shopping. It's a couple minute walk from the many stores in the flea market and food/coffee shops. The view is wonderful, overlooking the Acropolis and a...More
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
