Stayed there with a group of friends, staff very friendly good location, easy access to hop on hop off bus you can buy tickets at reception 22 euro for two days stops at all the tourist location's. Facilities are good free breakfast for a budget hotel Only thing I didn't like was the bed , mattress was not the best, didn't complain as only stayed a few days, but if I had and they had a room vacant I'm sure they would have helped. If you want to spend a bit more on a stay in Athens the Wyndham hotel is opposite 5 star.

Had a fab fantastic stay at the Apollo. Reception staff are lovely . Taxi service to and from ( holiday extras cheapest I found as I Didn’t want bus £74 return fab driver both on time . This is a great central location . The breakfast buffet is the same . But who cares it’s food and it’s included . I’m not a complainer . Get on with it .fab rooftop and amazing views . I paid £330 for this including flights . Not transfer . Jan 23 . I came early and my trip was originally in March and that was £530 for same . So yeh I had a bargain. The rooms are just being decorated and it was lovely . Amazing cake shop on corner . Hop on hop off bus also around the corner . It’s ideal . I was advised as o was a solo female . Lots of asylum and homeless . They can be aggressive at times . Stay away from side streets and told not to go out in the dark . This is normal for me anyway . The sites are awsum and if u are a walker like me . Once u get your bearings . It’s got fab history . Winter is half price entries to all monuments . So Acropolis was only €10 It’s a must . The national park and other monuments are fab . I chose not to go to meteora. Delphi or the islands cruise . Simply readings to many bad reviews . No regrets . They are expensive and extremely long day . But I had a blast exploring athens .

Very central, very reasonable price, clean room, comfy bed, nice buffet, easy walking distance to the Acropolis. The staff are friendly and helpful. We fancied an Indian curry and there are plenty nearby, but non fit to eat in. Eventually we went to a Greek taverna just around the corner which was wonderful.

Stay 4th & 5th August 2022 Arriving at 22:30 , an hour later than planned was not a problem Although only rated as 3 stars it still scored well for both of our 2 rooms. The Roof Terrace provides a nice place to chill out for evening drinks. Sadly their roof-top meals service was unavailable due to their current local Covid restrictions still being maintained. Still maintained by the Greek Government for Cruise Ship embarkations – hard-coies of their certificates for the Rapid Antigen Tests are handed straight to you. Big difference between the charges of $60 USD and 7 Euros pp. Make sure the keys and fob are securely seated to ensure aircon fully functions. Thanks to Maria and her colleagues for their assistance.

Structure located in a district abandoned to itself. Certainly not the best for a tourist. We were given a triple room but it was for one person only. 1 sqm large toilet. Unacceptable. Modest breakfast. Very nice terrace overlooking the acropolis. Hotel near metauxrgio metro station. Modest.

I'd like to rate this hotel high for value for money. I was apprehensive of the low price but i was looking for something easy and took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised! I paid 110e for 2 nights in a double room with a view of the acropolis! Yes, it was relatively basic but clean, friendly staff and a walk to everywhere you need to be (as a tourist). Wit a nice rooftop bar too! The only down side is that the neighbourhood feels a little unsafe at night. We were also approached and followed by someone...it was manageable but i wouldn't feel comfortable as a solo female traveler. I did see these reviews before i booked so i guess its part of the neighborhood. Regardless, value for money, a great stay and recommended :)

A good budget hotel lovely welcome from reception. The room was clean and fresh towels daily. Me personally the mattress was very hard. Sound proofing needs to be addressed. Breakfast good selection and a good start to the day.

Stayed here many times. Value for money. Good breakfast. Efi on reception is so lovely. Always helpful. Great for a central location. The hotel is doing some upgrades. I work in the business and for the price its a great place to stop for a few nights. Clean sheets every day.. some tolietries.. bbc world on tv. Good powerful shower. Service friendly. Yes the road is busy outside but you have triple glazing on the balcony door so it is fine. 2 mins to the metro. Evi on reception will give you all the information you need on local transport.. tours.. etc. Always a pleasure to stay here.
