We moved to the Brazil from the Phidias as we couldn't bear the basement room. The Brazil isn't in such a good area but the family were so welcoming and friendly it didn't matter. Lovely big room with a balcony and a courtyard "in progress " that will be lovely in a few weeks time. Only drawback was that they...

The neighborhood is full of refugees and if there are local people then they look like criminals (mostly). The hotel is good compared to others at the price it offers, but on the second day they did not clean the room nor exchanged Towels - they did it politely ("I forgot to send you the lady to clean the room...

So we stayed for 3 nights here, as it was recomended to us by some local friends. The hotel is very well positioned, really close to the metro station and 2 metro stops away from Monastiraki. The area is ok, compared to others that you pass by as you walk to the center. It is an old building, but as...

Very close to metro station. Very quiet area day and night. Very simple hotel, don't expect much things. Just a clean room to stay, nothing to do at the hotel. Two very friendly reception guys 😊 value for money as well

We stayed in three different hotels in Athens recently, this one was the best. Don't be deceived by the star rating, it was far better than other hotels with more stars! In reviews some people mention "bad neighbourhood", I think this was because before the summer refugees stayed in the Victoria Square area. We didn't notice anything bad or worrying...

A budget hotel close to station but not in the most pleasant neighborhood. Room was adequate, very clean and quite comfortable. Owners mother and son though gave 5* service during our 3 days there, from serving tea and coffee every day to help with storing our luggage.

We stayed about 20 minutes in that hotel and decided to change to another one. On our way from Victoria Station to the hotel someone suspicious followed us. It was an obvious attempt to steal. 10 meters away from the hotel entrance we saw four people cooking and injecting themselves heroin! That was the point when we decided not to...

I loved this Hotel - Theo, his family and Staff could not be faulted, could not be more helpful and friendly - Just lovely people to deal with. Theo could not have been more helpful and informative regarding where to do, things to see, how to get around the city etc. My room was everything that I could have hoped...

Brazil hotel is located 2 minutes walk from Victoria square station. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are great. The mother and son who ran the place were lovely people. There is a nice little courtyard where can relax with a beer and meet other travellers. I felt very safe in the area and can only recommend this...
