We booked Semeli Hotel for 3 nights in October 2016 and the double room we had was pretty good. I sincerely appreciate the fact that cleaning and towel changing happened daily. The room was very comfortable, but I suggest making available some extra blankets in the cold season. The AC would not start for warmth and the usual summer cover...

We arrived late and tired, the reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and really helpful. After a quick shower, we were out experiencing some of their recommended places to eat and drink, all within a short walk.

The receptionist girl was really helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious, it's served in your room whenever you ask for it. The area is ok, there's a nice square just around the corner with many restaurants and cafes. We had dinner at one of the restaurants almost every night during our stay. Transportation - we usually walked from the metro...

We had booked a twin room for 7 nights. The first night we were put in a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. The bathroom doors are slatted saloon bar swing doors. These really aren't suitable especially if you are sharing with a friend. There was an odd smell all night in the room, which we later discovered was caused...

What a classy, clean and modern hotel for what should the cost of a low-budget older place. Very helpful and friendly staff and just a block away from a whole pedestrian district of lovely local (not touristy) Greek restaurants and open air lounges. It's a bit of a walk from the metro (.6 miles) which is why I assume it's...

Only 10-15 minutes by bus to downtown Athen. Nice neighborhood. Secure parking in the same street, will be organized by reception. Rooms with air condition, good beds, (greek) breakfast will be serviced to the room, even very early in the morning! Reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay at Semeli. PS: the pictures with pool do not belong to hotel...

Firsts thing to note is the photos on TripAdvisor are for another Hotel Semeli in a different part of Greece. Consequently - disappointingly - you won't find that welcoming pool at the one in Athens. That aside, the hotel is decent enough for the price. The room was large and the bed comfortable. There was a funky smell in the...

This hotel has it all, great staff, nice rooms, fantastic location but the breakfast were the best we had for the 2 weeks we were in Greece! Katrinia puts out a spread like no one else! She really enjoys what she does and makes you feel like you are in her home! She really spoiled us and the rest of...
