Awful hotel, awful service, to be avoided. The receptionist could not explain in plain English why he did not charge a second card provided. He just cancelled the reservation and gave our room to someone else at the indication of his manager. Amazing!

Confortable bed and nice room, nice simple breakfast, nice service, well connected place to travel to Pireas and to the old city, totally recommend this place for unpretentious and cheap short stay in the city

The hotel was clean and beautifully designed. Close to the train station which was convenient to travellers like us. Shower was good. However, some of the floor laminates/furnishings were old and peeling, and the room was a little small. It was a little noisy at night because it was too close to the road and train station. In addition, I’m not sure if they changed the bed sheets because I saw some hairs of previous guests on it. Staff was friendly though and cheap/good for value overall.

Highly recommend this hotel. We arrived late by train from Meteora on the way to the airport next day. The Ariston was perfect for us; 1 block from the train station. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean; nice breakfast buffet included at a very reasonable price. The hotel is on a corner facing a busy street but the noise did not bother us.

Room was clean and air con was good, as was WiFi. Male staff member (didn’t catch his name) on Friday who checked us in was very accommodating and saw to our drinks when we arrived back at the hotel on Friday night. My mum really likes baths and she was happy that the room had a bathtub included and the two balconies were lovely to look out on. Thanks for the great stay!

The staff is great. I arrived in Athens only to find my reservation at another hotel had been cancelled. The staff here worked to rearrange their bookings and got me a room for the week. The free breakfast offers plenty of choices. The rooms are clean and have a nice balcony. My only complaint would be the lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom.

I arrived in Athens and found my reservation for another hotel had been cancelled. The staff at the Ariston hotel worked around their reservations and managed to get me a room for the week. The staff is delightful. Breakfast is included and there is a good selection of things to eat. My only real complaint is there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom.

Surrounded by restaurants mall tourist shops. Also has a few street vendors near b. You can walk to the Marin Central Train and Bus Terminal. So can save money on cabs as you get anywhere from this hotel. It is like most hotels in this area, small rooms and goes up several floors to a new gym on the seventh floor. Great Buffett breakfast ,has everything . Will provide gluten products and soy milk. Staff take care of all needs. We stayed two days and tha was OK but would not spend a week or more as our room had shutters And so we were I told darkness even at noon. Also to cramped for a long stay unless you are back packing. Bathrooms need a little up dating but you have to remember this old part of town and so old buildings.

Room was not as clean and new as it looked in the pictures. The breakfast was very bad. Bread was cutted and thrown in a basket and it wasn't fresh. The coffee was very bad also. They even served cold eggs from the previous days(?!) and cold ntolmadakia kai gigantes beans from the previous day/night... Thankfully we stayed there for one night only but we don't recommend it at all..
