Very close to the port and excellent option for travelers taking an early ferry, it is short walking distance which is great! Reception lady was really nice during our check in, telling us directions to important locations. Asked our preferences on room according to her availability and we got one on the 4th floor with a balcony, which was lovely....

The hotel is awful! It is close to the port, and it comes in handy after you lose your ship, but do not stay here! Too expensive, too dirty, too eerie, the shower wasn't working, it smelled bad, it has a noisy parrot, the breakfast was horrible! Do not stay here!!

I use to travel alone often that's why I always book hotels in advance to avoid any troubles or stress. I booked one night in Acropole hotel a week in advanced and received confirmation email that the booking is done. When I arrived in the hotel after a long journey with the ferry at almost midnight the receptionist informed me...

If you are travelling to the Greek Islands you will soon find out that you will practically always have to spend one night on the continent on your way there or back. The Acropole Hotel is a great choice for the budget traveller if you have to catch an early ferry or flight. It is located less than 100 metres...

Dirty. No plugs in any sinks or baths. Random fridge in the middle of the room. Miserable and rude girl on reception. Gets stars for location which could not have been better for the ferry. Pay a little more and go else where. Or a hostel would be better. Irritating parrot!

It is value for the money, clean and okay equipped, and the location is perfect for bording the ferry the next morning. The environment is intense and exciting for a tourist. We spent an amazing evening in one of the bars on the market with eating, singing and dancing. Certainly we will be back in Piraeus, says Per and Elisabeth...

I recently stayed one night at the Acropole on the way home from Syros. The hotel is basic, however its location at the port makes it ideal for a one night stay prior to catching a ferry or returning to the airport on the way home. My room was clean, breakfast was good and the hotel has the most gorgeous...

What a great location. A very short walk gets you right on to the pier if you are heading out to the islands. The rooms are certainly adaquate, and the service was extremely helpful. Very good value for the money.
