Must sit in the roof garden!!! Very nice view of Piraeus port. Gourmet menu with very good prices.I tried salmon fillet with rice and grilled vegetables. Also the arugula salad with cashews was fantastic. I will defently come again soon!!!
This place is surprisingly nice in such a dirty city. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I was unwell after spending some time in Croatia staff were accommodating and the chemist up the road was also very helpful. I would advise getting room service as...More
We stayed 3 nights in this hotel (before and after a cruise in the Cyclades). It was convenient for our day and a half stay in Athens (close to subway station) and convenient to go take the ferry to Mykonos (start early morning) and come...More

Beautiful hotel--an oasis in the dirty city of Athens. We flew from Paris to Athens. Took the bus to the Piraeus and took the ferry out to Naxos the next morning. Perfect 10 min walk to the ferry. Nothing else redeeming about the area. The...More

The port of Piraeus is HUGE! The main gate into the port is within walking distance. So, it depends on where you are going there. If you are taking a ferry to the islands and have luggage, you will want to take a taxi. Taxis in Piraeus are extremely cheap. I was volunteering with the refugees, which is at the far end of the port, roughly 3-4 miles through dense city traffic and it was only 5 euros one way. Athens is easily reached from the Metro station in Piraeus, which is walking distance from the hotel (about a kilometer, or maybe even less). I would NOT stay in Piraeus, if my real goal is Athens, because the metro ride is 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day. But, if you want to go into Athens once or twice, it's fine. As for the airport, it depends on how you go. By car or taxi it's a minimum 40 minutes, and that's at a time of day when there is little traffic. It is possible to take the Metro from Pireaus and change lines to the airport train. That is a 90 minute trip and costs 10 euro (instead of 50 for a taxi). Finally, there is an express bus to the airport from near the Piraeus Dream Hotel. I didn't take it so I don't know the cost, but I hear it also takes about 90 minutes. Hope this has been helpful and answers your questions!
