A Cretan style village right on the sea between Aghios Nikolaos (3.5km) and Elounda (5km), from which a frequent bus service connects with both villages. The airport and capital City of Heraklion are 65 km away, and all the fascinating attractions of the island can be reached by full or half day excursions.
The village is comprised of 222 units of different types, set among 65.000 square meters of gardens.
All units enjoy the same facilities including individual air-conditioning / heating, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, TV, fridge, facilities for light cooking, filter coffee machines, hairdryer, private bath and shower and large terrace or balcony.
Candia Park Village is a place you arrive at and instantly feel at home. Service + accommodation + everything else were just great; meals excellent. Will definitively come back next year. Thanks a lot.
Candia Park is a home away from home. After many visits we returned despite Covid . The hotel made such an effort to please us and hygiene is excellent. Above all it is so friendly and swathed in a garden of flowers, just beautiful. Nikos and his team are so welcoming and the food it always good and varied. The Greek specialty’s are delicious and everything is fresh. The rooms are comfortable and very well kept. The aircon works perfectly. There are several beaches well kept and equipped as well as a delightful spa. Thankyou EVA for your warm welcome. I can’t say more, it’s pure relaxation and pleasure. Maude and Daniel
The residence is nice, with a nice view, clean and pleasant. The food, however, is not of high quality. Quite a lot of choice but no tastes and poor quality. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Collective infrastructure deserves to be updated.
I rested here with my family in August 2021. Was at the massage sessions with the wonderful Viki. I want to thank her so much! Two months later, nothing hurts me. By the way, I am over 50 years old, so I am very pleased with Viki's massage. You are amazing! It's a miracle.
We liked the village style of the hotel, the sandy beach, the cids club, the possibility to rent boats, jet-ski, etc. directly at the beach and the friendliness of the staff. The food in the buffet restaurant and the a la carte restaurant is of good quality; however, staff was quite stressed during the meals since it was supposed to be low season but the hotel nevertheless was flloded with as many tourists as during high season. Another thing which was quite hard to accept is the price level for additional meals and drinks; compared to good or even excellent restaurants in Elounda or Agios Nikolaos, the prices are on average 50% higher (e.g. dinner buffet for two adults an 3-year-old 55 EUR + 18 EUR drinks; a good greek a la carte restaurant in Elounda charges around 45 EUR incl. drinks); especially the price for any kind of coffee is with EUR 3.2 (to go at the bar or in the restaurant doesn't make any difference) totally overcharged and even higher than in the average Swiss restaurant. The filter coffee maker in the room isn't really an alternative. We also had an issue with the parking: you park at the side of the "road" inside the village; since there were so many cars you would sometimes search quite long for a free spot + we had an ugly bump / parking damage; a bit more space wouldn't harm…
