We have stayed here three years running now and are looking forward to next year...... We would never stay anywhere else. Perfect location overlooking the harbour. Beautifully decorated rooms. Welcome honey raki. Complimentary water, soap, shower gel and shampoo. The staff are so lovely and will help you with anything, especially Sophia who runs the hotel. Breakfast is a must.......

The hotel is beautiful, it's like staying in a well renovated peice of history! It's in a great location with stunning views of the harbor! The staff is very thoughtful and refills a glass bottle with filtered water for you every day! The library/sitting room is nice touch too! Overall we loved the hotel and old town Chania!

The first thing we noticed on approach: Porto Antico enjoys a choice location on Zampeliou Street, at the point where this gently winding lane runs parallel and just behind the old harbor. A few door from the hotel is arguably the most popular taverna in Chania, Tamam, which we tried. And we loved the Mediterranean cuisine here as well, one...

I will attempt to make this brief but it may prove difficult. We planned a 12 day trip in June to visit relatives in Chania. After searching the many hotels and rooms available we settled on Porto Antico. It is located almost dead center of the port and is right on the water. We made the reservations in December and...

You feel as if the whole of Chania is in your feet.Nicely decorated rooms, beautiful interior (dont let the outside or entrance fool you). Could do with an elevator, especially if you are not traveling light.

This Hotel is in the old part of town, the rooms facing the seaside have a very nice view over the port. The rooms are traditional designed with AC. Very friendly staff water and Raki is in your room included. Either you do have a room to the port side, or one to the old town, both sides are loud...

Porto Antico is very accomodating. My husband and I visited crete chania to celebrate our 10 years anniversary and stay at Porto Antico hotel. We stayed at the appartment which is cost effective. The host are very friendly and helpful. When we check out, we left our luggage in their luggage room and di some last minute walk on the...

Very nice hotel in the middle of buzzing Chania's old town - which means no driving or parking there - frankly one does not need a car in Chania. The owner is super nice and does everything possible to ensure all you questions are answered - from where to go out to arranging a taxi to the airport.

I just spent the week-end in this hotel in Chania, Crete and it was tremendous. Instead of a room we (2 people) were given an apartment with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as living/dining area and free WiFi. Literally the hotel is situated a stone's throw from the old Venetian Harbour in a narrow street so typical of...

We stayed at the apartment that belongs to the hotel , just a street away from the main hotel at the old harbor , and that was a big surprise. A vary spacious nicely furnished apartment that sleeps up to 6 persons. With 2 very comfortable bedrooms , 2 bathrooms and a living - dinning space . Obviously recently renewed...
