My wife and I and our 2 teenage daughters recently enjoyed a fantastic stay. Our hotel rooms were very clean and a good size with air con provided. The only slight negative was that the shower was not very powerful and was operated from an attachment in the bath. All of the hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive....

We started our two week Greek vacation at Amalthia Beach Resort, after an exhausting 16 hour trip from Newark, NJ via Athens. Amalthia was exactly what we needed. It was delightful! The small resort, about a thirty minute taxi ride from the airport, is extremely well managed and maintained. The staff is excellent, especially Renna, Katerina and Zina. We spent...

The hotel looks pretty and lovely, got an OK welcome. No lifts and no-one to help you carry your bags upstairs, the room we stayed in (room 67) was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. We asked to upgrade at reception, even asked the (very rude) manager and no joy. The shower has no shower head holders so...

I will rate this hotel with 4 stars only because we had to pay for the sunbeds 10 euro per day. I felt like the hotel was pushing us away from their part of the beach. In other places you get at least options: If you have the launch there you get the sunbeds for free or you have the...

We had a great week here... very clean rooms, very friendly staff , right next to its own private beach, luxury meals, sunbeds extra cost, sandy beach, great beaches in the area. Bed mattress could be better :) I would recommend it for anyone who needs a great relaxing time in a fantastic beach hotel !

Amalthia is a beautiful resort hotel by the sea. We arrived hours before the check-in time and the lady at the reception encouraged us to go for a swimming and enjoy a snack at the pool-bar. The view was dreamy. Our room, facing the sea and the pool. was attractive and very comfortable. The hotel was impressively clean and the...
