We booked here as it was last minute and needed to fit a tight budget. We were "warned" that there was a hill and a lot of climbing AND that the accommodation was well out of Elounda..... Due to some reviews, and the very reasonable price that we paid, our expectations were not very high, and we were just hoping...

Good value, basic accommodation - does what it says in the tin!! What makes the difference is the people - Could not ask for more welcoming, friendly people. The rooms are spotless, and certainly had everything we needed. This hotel is on a steep slope, with reception being based at the pool (half way up - so good to stop...

We are here now and don't want to leave for home on Tuesday!!! Tasmania village is well situated out of the town with near perfect views across the bay from most rooms. Our studio is modern immaculate and typical Greek !!! Fabulous pool and sun terrace , friendly bar and very friendly owners Maria and George. We'll be back !!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tasmania Village. It was our first time, and found everyone to be friendly. I think some of the bad reviews are really unfair, and clearly they haven't done their research beforehand. Most places it is the norm to pay extra for air con, safe and to stay longer in your apartment. The hill is...

Having visited Elunda for 15 years this was our second stay at the Tasmania, the apartments are nice kept clean by Sharon who us extremely helpful and friendly. We like to be out and about and don't use the pool bar except occasionally. We kept the room on our day of departure until 5 and were ripped off to the...

We arrived very late transport between airport and villas very long but spot on as predicted, room prepared clean as described. This is not a venue for the very elderly or mobility restricted. The view in the morning was marvelous, out over the good sized pool to the island opposite the complex. The sea was like bath water, really warm...

We've just returned from Tasmania Village and had a superb holiday. It really is a home away from home. Maria, George and Sharon are a great team who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our apartment was in the block behind the bar and pool, and yes, it is a bit of a hike up the...

Wonderful place to start our tour round Crete. Very relaxing, Anna and Maria the owners are very accommodating and helpful. Good food and drinks at the pool bar and inexpensive, the pool is very nice with spectacular views. The accommodation is basic Greek style but very clean and well kept by Sharon the housekeeper.
