We only stayed for one night but it was so worth it! Amazing room, very helpful people at the reception! Great breakfast at the Hacienda restaurant. Near all the city hotspots with a beautiful view to the nearby church.
Excellent location with restaurants cafes shops right outside hotel. Staff were so helpful and pleasant. Rooms clean plus we had a balcony that overlooked the square. Free breakfast adequate. Vibrant area so very busy late at night however sound proofing great if you really have to sleep
We stayed at this hotel twice during our recent holiday. Our first stay was in the suite on the top floor. This is a spectacular room with a HUGE balcony. The room and balcony are the entire 5th floor, overlooking the churches and park. It even has an outdoor hot tub. Our second room was also nice, but it was tough going from the suite to a standard room. The location of the hotel is great. It faces the church courtyard and there are several cafes. There is easy access to the entire center of Heraklion. All of the hotel staff are amazing. They were polite and helpful. I would like to single out Petrali Margarita, the hotel manager. She was warm and friendly and really seemed to care about our happiness. She made dinner reservations for us and nail appointments for my wife and niece. She would greet us if we were outside at a cafe. Just a wonderful asset. My ONLY criticism would be the servers at the Hacienda cafe. The were rude and some were unprofessional. It took forever to get waited on, to the point of us moving to the other cafes in the square. It was hard to believe it was part of the hotel. The servers really need to be trained on efficiency and customer interaction. Beside that, a splendid hotel. We will go back again.…
Modern, pristine, large rooms, great service and amenities, all for a very reasonable price. Situated on a beautiful square where children and families gather, just a stone’s throw from literally everything, this was our quiet haven for four nights (2 at the beginning and 2 at the end of our Crete roadtrip). Rooms are well insulated and the king bed was so comfy. Aim for Parking Theseus if you have a car (10 Euro for 24 hours), a short walk from the Hotel. Try to drop off your bags first if you can. Hats off to this new, small hotel that is manned by a kind, friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable staff.
We had the chance to stay for 2 nights in this brandnew hotel. The rooms are cozy, modern and practical. I especially loved the big walk in shower. From the first minute you are made feel very welcome by the hotel staff. They even arranged takeaway breakfast on our day of departure, since we had to leave at 6am. The restaurant right next to it is the one which prepares breakfast and we recommend it as well for dinner, they have delicious food and the atmosphere of the square next by is uplifting
Very nice hotel in the city centre. Our room had a deck overlooking the square which was lively until dusk then nice & quiet. The included breakfast was from a large menu that you could order the night before. Great selection of choices. The church bells rang out early morning for a pleasant awakening. This location is just a couple of streets away from great shopping & restaurants and a short walk to the sea.
Luxury In the heart of city near shopping and restaurants..very modern and clean. I felt very comfortable especially after letting a friend book our hotel in Athens which was let’s just say not that great. This hotel had a lovely balcony that looks out to church and square of kids playing all day and a another big big window that opens to pretty much same view. I love the way the balcony is set up so u don’t see the people on their balcony. The noise can be loud in the square but didn’t bother me at all it’s part of the experience/culture. The church bell didn’t even bother me especially after sleeping next to the one in Athens that’s scared us everytime we never got used to it lol. Loved that they had a vegan option for breakfast, the cost was 8euros. The breakfast was actually pretty good especially the tacos they were bomb. Hats off to the chef. Even had breakfast sent to my room last day so I could leave early for bus to Chania. I have only 2 small complaints. 1 the AC wasn’t strong and I was getting a little hot but I like my room a lot warmer than most more so if u were a warm blooded person you would have died, for me it was just a little comfortable especially at night because my nose gets stuffed up when it’s stuffy and humid in room. My other little complaint is the service at breakfast which I’m coming to the realization it’s a Greece thing. The servers don’t seem to check up on you. So I flagged down the lady walking past since no one came by and told her I wanted some tea, she said she would get my server. Well that never happened I waited so long I left and just made some tea in my room. Other than that great hotel would definitely come back.…
This is a beautiful contemporary hotel with a phenomenal breakfast. The staff are very professional and the manager Margarita went out of her way to organise a surprise for my wife’s birthday. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect from a 4* hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and I would highly recommend it. It’s well located in the city too so that’s an extra bonus.
Perfect location, nice restaurants nearby, parking nearby and amazing staff!!! We stayed for 1 night in a family room which is basically 2 interconnected double rooms with 2 bathrooms, everyone was very friendly and ready to assist with all questions! They managed to organize a nice breakfast whist respecting Covid 19 limitations. Great hotel! Highly recommended !
The room was luxury with sense of 5* hotel. The bathroom was large and comfort while the view from the balcony was amazing. The negative that was the bells from the church opposite but that wasn't big deal as rest of facilities was more than expected. High recommended!
