I stayed for a couple of days on a business trip. The location is good but the hotel offers nothing special. My room was clean facing a side street so it wasn't noisy. The price was rather high for what was offered.

The location of the hotel is good. It’s central for the town centre and has amenities close by. However, I have stayed at the hotel many times on business over the years and whilst the reception area has been refurbished several times and the rooms have had a lick of different coloured paint, the important upgrades have yet to be made. By that I mean new mattresses, quality pillows (I take my own now and bath towel too as those provided by the hotel are a little on the small side) and renovated showers/bathrooms. Every time, I wake up after a restless night with an aching back. Even a topper would be an improvement. The WiFi used to be very poor but has improved although connectivity is still very slow. Probably not an issue if you’re on holiday and only staying a night or two but for business people it’s disappointing. Having to work in reception isn’t always convenient. The room is booked for me by my company but I have stayed in a more economical hotel a little further out of town with the same star rating but with much better WiFi, beds and bathrooms at a lower price. And a more varied breakfast! Come on Olympic! Time to up your game and stop making cosmetic changes and invest in your customers comfort experience!

Located in the center of Heraklion city, you can go everywhere by feet. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Also breakfast was very good. The parking was the major problem. Recommended if you want to stay at the center of city.

Olympic Hotel is a nice hotel in the city center of Heraklion. My wife, little sons (11 months old and 3 years old) stayed there for one night. The staff was gentle and attentive and the complementary breakfast was also ok! Next to the hotel there is a bus stop (direct transfer harbor and/or airport) and the beginning of the main shopping street. There you'll find a lot of shops and restaurants. One point is deducted as the rooms are rather old (however everything was clean) and the WIFI was not working that well. All in all we had a great time and we would stay at Olympic Hotel again.

We have the pleasure to stay at this lovely hotel with 10 friends for a stag do. The hotel was clean, friendly staff and great location. The morning after when we are feeling a little bit worse for wear, we thought we will try the hotels coffee bar! Stathis was very friendly and funny! Made the best coffees so we can carry on the excessive drinking!
