The Mirabello is 3 minutes walk from the "25 August" pedestrian street in one direction, and from the Morosini Fountain in another. The hotel is basic, it also has rooms with comunal bathrooms, if wished. Our room had a small double bad and another single bed, so for comfort we just slept separately for 2 nights. It is not my...

An ok place! The rooms are quite outdated but the surround balcony is spacious. Location is good though and most attractions are within walkable distance. The Hotel itself was a little bit hard to find as not all the street names in Heraklion are not subtitled in English (like other cities in Crete) but print yourself a map and you...

This hotel is located near the port and the bus station. We chose this hotel because we wanted a place to sleep before to catch a bus the next morning for Hania. In general the hotel isn't too bad, the room we had was quiet small but for a night that's ok. It was also noisy during the night from...

Last summer I was in Crete for two weeks. We arrived by plain in Heraklion and we needed a hotel for the first 2 nights. I booked this hotel on internet. My choice was based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and it was also based on the price. It is cheap….As a meter of fact it is not so...

The highlight of this hotel for me was getting to know the brothers that run it. They were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is walking distance from the bus station, to the central square and many places to eat. The rooms are very basic with no frills, but there is A/C, which worked very well, and a TV which...

We have just returned from Crete, having travelled the island from East to West and stayed at Hotel Mirabello for 3 nights. We chose a room with shared bathroom facilities - although our room had a basin in it. The shared facilities rooms are not unlike university halls of residence, and the shared bathroom is kept very clean. The people...

We were looking for budget on our trip. We did not have set reservations when we arrived, walked into hotel and rooms were available. Budget price we got, but this was not your typical "budget" hotel. Very clean, felt safe, always someone at the front desk, staff remembers you, from day to day. They are very helpful with any information...

We spent four nights at the Hotel Mirabello and would highly recommend the hotel to others. The rooms are clean and while not spacious, they are perfectly adequate for travelers who will be spending most of their time outside enjoying Crete. We found the owner of the hotel to be especially charming and helpful with offering us suggestions and filling...

I am from San Francisco, California and this is my first time to Crete and I was so happy I chose Mirabello Hotel. It is run by a very friendly Greek family. The rooms are all very clean and charming. The hotel itself has a very classic and traditional feel. Mirabello is very nice, and affordable too. It is also...
