It is probably located in one of the best spots in Heraklion. You have all the benefits of staying in the center of the city, plus it is very close to bus stops of the main routes in Heraklion (5 minutes walk-time the most). As a hotel it is old, old-fashioned, but it is clean. If you are interested in...

Its a center hotel with all the minimum requirements covered. It is for absolute business usage, that is stay at the hotel only for sleep. Clean sheets, hot water with nice big shower, big TV and wifi availability.

I visited Heraklion for a business trip and I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. the hotel is located in the center of the city, in walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee places and historic places. it is an old building but it is renovated and it is nice inside. they were actually renovating the higher floors during my...

I stayed here only one night, before I flew out of Heraklion the next day. This hotel has quite affordable prices (under 40 Euro in mid-September). However, you gets what you pay for. It does have the feel of cheap hotel. The room is very spartan and a bit charmless. The bathroom is tiny and the shower compartment may not...

I stayed only one night visiting Heraklion for work. The location is super central ,also convenient for taking public transportation. The room was very basic but ok, door was not very easy to close ,needed an extra effort. Decoration so so, quite old , need renovation! The staff kind and friendly and the room was clean. Maybe for its location...

The shower wasn't working and flooded our bathroom. Breakfast was basic in a dark room. However we enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city centre of Heraklion, for which this hotel is perfectly located.

This is going to be my 4th and last night in El Greco Hotel. To tell the truth, I hesitated to book a room here online simply because I did not know the region. When I was actually in Heraklion, I paid a visit to the hotel and made my reservation. Compared to other hotels in the region (heart of...

Location is excellent for a visit to Heraklion city with everything on the doorstep, shops, taverna's coffee shops etc. The hotel is basic, but clean and good price for such location. Recommend 50 / 50 taverna on adjacent market street, good food, friendly and lots of raki.
