We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before our departure from Crete. We parked at the City Centre Parking about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. 6Euros for 24H. Driving in the streets around the hotel is challenging. We had a small car and it the streets were very narrow. The location of the hotel is perfect, only... More

I was here in novembver for four days. Perfect hotel. clean, very frendly staff, perfect breakfust and in the middle of the center and still no problem with the sound of pubs. I'll reservate this hotel again when I'm back.

We were only here one night on part of a Greek Island hop. The hotel is well placed for getting around the centre of Heraklion. Easy to drive from the hotel on to the National road heading to the western end of the island. Our room on the 5th floor was average as was the breakfast the following morning.

Good hotel - clean and very central, so perfect to be able to walk to everywhere you need to. Great breakfast and wifi as well. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only area for improvement would be for them to have more power points in the rooms as mine only seemed to have one.

It's a little hotel in the centre of Heraklion city that met all our needs. We stayed at this hotel just for a night; however we were more than happy to discover that it is a couple of minutes walk to the central square of the city. We liked the private espresso machine, the friendliness of the staff and the... More

Central location, close to shops and cafes. Spacious , well appointed room with a small balcony, AC, high spec bathroom, snazzy lighting, upmarket tea and coffee making facilities and tres modern decor. The room was double glazed but there was still quite a bit of noise from the street. Breakfast was good without being fabulous. This is a really good... More

It's not a bad hotel, and actually quite a good choice for a place to stay in the center of Heraklion. It's about 3 minutes walk from the main restaurants and bars areas; the staff is polite, and breakfast is satisfying. the rooftop seating area is a nice thing too. The room itself, is below expectations. True, it has many... More

Air conditioning didn't work, bed was uncomfortable, roof top terrace was nice, and place was clean, excellent location, close to the airport by taxi, and in the centre of the city close to the port/shops, bars etc. Staff were very welcoming

The Kastro is good value and offers convenience and a great location. We enjoyed the town far more than we expected and the staff was a large part of that experience: knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the port and we were only planning on being there for a short night. It is a fairly good hotel for the price and location. It took us about 15 minutes to walk with our luggage from the port. The wifi and breakfast were not the best but I'd recommend... More
