Lovely and clean. The sea view is worth it. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel has many restaurants and beaches right there. Parking was easier to get by mid afternoon but municipal parking is not far. We highly enjoyed this hotel.

I was very happy with the room, it was what I had hoped for. Reasonable room, balcony facing the sea, nice bathroom. It was nice and clean everywhere. The beds were comfortable, reasonably soft / hard. The staff was nice too. Wifi worked really well. I did not like breakfasts much, it could be better than that. And the dining room did not look very nice, unfortunately. A little cold so to speak.

We have stayed in Astron hotel for a week. We had a really big and lovely room. Clean and modern hotel ran by a family. Great services and excellent location, right on the beach and super close to the city centre . The breakfast was very good. Will certainly come back again.

In September 2019 I spent another two weeks at Astron Hotel in Ierapetra after the 2018 stay ; for me,it was so fine that I decided to return in 2019 ; thanks to Mrs.Vogiatzi I got the same room as in 2018, room 222 which is a kind of junior suite with a living room in which there are two chairs,a frigde whose upper side can be used as a table,there is a flat screen TV and a one person bed ; from here,there is the entrance to the bathroom ; in this room there also is a closet and the exit to a long nice terrace ,about 5-6 meters long ; and the second room is the bedroom with two separate beds,a flat screen TV and a table with a mirror ; both rooms have AC ; the room was cleaned every day ; the staff was very friendly and they did everything to feel comfortable; one of the strongest points of this hotel is the food served at dinner for those who have half board ; there are ansolutely delicious and varied dishes ,consisting of a choice of salads and 3-4 delicious main dishes each evening prepared by the cook of Astron Hotel whom I admire for her talent and imagination ! breakfast is also varied and offers a large choice for every taste ; not to forget about the absolutely delicious sweets each evening,also in 3-4 varieties each evening ; the hotel has a modern,youthful,functional design which transmits a cosy atmosphere ;I would return anytime with great pleasure !…

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is great. Our room had a great view of the ocean and prominade. Rooms are a reasonable size and cleaned daily. Breakfast was included and there was always a very good selection of fresh food to choose from.

Not the best in my opinion, the bathroom smelled of sewage and I didn't have one good nights sleep due to the noise from the cafe opposite (open until about 3am) then the bin men came around at 5.00 ! The double glazing didn't keep out any noise at all. Breakfast was ok and location was good, right in the centre between the beach and the shops.

I can say,without mistaking,that Astron is probably one of the best hotels in Ierapetra; it is situated on the seafront very near to the beaches of Ierapetra ; it is clean,modern with a tastily decorated lobby and a very pleasant dining room ; thanks to the outstanding kindness of Mrs.Marilena Vogiatzi we received a junior suite on the second floor consisting of a first room with fridge,closet,a one person bed and two chairs and a flat screen TV and a separate bedroom with a flat screen TV too; the balcony was also impressive ,about 6 meters long with a table and two chairs ; my only complaint is only towards the bathroom which is very small,the shower has no curtain or glass wall,so showering must be done very carefully in order not to sprinkle the whole bathroom with water ;the room was fixed daily,towels were changed daily and bedsheets very often,I think every third day; breakfast was the best I enjoyed since traveling to Greece,more varied than the standard breakfast in Greece with a choice for everyone; the only weak point for me was the coffee which in general in Greece is under normal standards ; dinner was incredibly tasty with 3-4 delicious courses each evening and it was impossible not to try each course every day; not to mention the 3-4 extremely delicious cakes/sweets,each evening different,so I couldn’t stop tasting all of them each day; outstandingly friendly staff,the lady who took care of the breakfast as well as the guy who served the drinks in the evening and had a nice word for everybody and always was asking if we were fine or needed something ; they did their best in order that the guests feel as good and cozy as possible ; in the lobby there also is a small library with books to read in different languages ; everything was working in the room,the A/C smooth and efficient and it is the first time that I stay in a hotel room in Greece where WiFi was functioning impeccably ! apart from the congratulations I wish to express to the staff , I also intend to return to this place as soon as possible; the hotel is open all year long ,with the mention that dinner is served until October 30 and beginning with April 1;…

We arrived at the hotel 2/8/18 at 2am - 9/8/18. On arrival our check in was smooth and a very pleasant experience! Not only was the check in quick and personal but we were lead to the restaurant (which was obviously closed) to a delicious plate of pre made Greek salad and breads..something I haven’t experienced even in 5 star hotels-so the beginning of our holiday was certainly off to a good start. Food-very traditional, delicious, and plenty of variety. Cleanliness...outstanding!! Room 205, public areas, restaurant..all immaculate!! Staff...above and beyond the call of duty, extremely personal, polite and caring! A special thanks to Maria at breakfast who always took the time to greet us and even have a laugh with us, also Giannis who made our evening experience fun, enjoyable and full of helpful knowledge for the next days adventure of Crete. The receptionist Marilena was a warm, friendly person who helped arrange a late check out and an upgraded sea view room at a very responsible price! Nothing was to much for the three of them! We would return in a heart beat! Overall experience was fantastic! Air conditioning...works perfectly even in 36 degrees!!! Room...205. Beautiful! Stunning view, spacious, clean, fresh bottled water supplied ever day, comfy beds, towels replaced every day also. A huge thanks to all at the hotel for making our child free week an amazing one!!
