Hi, there is a very small beach at the end of the road, not a lot of sand though. Being a bit of a walker I never noticed a sandy beach in the near vicinity. There are buses at the botom of the road that take you almost anywhere and Im sure Nik in the appartments would point you in the right direction. Enjoy Kos, lovely island.
