Positives: The hotel was extremely clean and rooms a good size. The food was OK, it was fresh but basic. The location was about an hour walk out of Skala town but the hotel put on a free bus service every half an hour which was great. The main beach is in Skala town but there are two beautiful pebbled...

The Hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff exceedingly polite and helpful. They have two main pools (one with a additional children's depth) and both were well maintained. We were lucky to stay close to the main complex in room 305, always cleaned to excellent standard and plenty of good pressured hot water. A minor detail for our bathroom, the...

A quiet hotel built on a hill side, as long as you don't mind a few steps or jumping in a little bus to your room this hotel is perfect. Food was as good as could be expected when catering for such big numbers, varied every day with hot, cold and all the courses available. Pool area was great, views...

We have visited Kefalonia and Skala many times as its a beautiful island and a typically Greek resort and very traditional . We usually stay nearer to Skala, however as we were a party of 13 with elderly parents we wanted something to cater for all needs . The hotel was fantastic , the pools beautiful, the service from reception,...

Just returned from San Georgio where I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. I have to say is a very nice hotel with great rooms great views and a modern hotel however it seriously let's itself down when it comes to breakfast. I fully understood that it was to be a continental style breakfast but to have one tray...

My partner and I have recently returned from yet another amazing holiday in Kefalonia. This time we stayed at the San Georgio and went self-catering. We had previously stayed at the Asteris Hotel last year in October and thought we had bagged the best views in town………… more later. After picking our car up at the Airport although we had...

Stayed here during the 'busy' last two weeks in July and whilst I agree with many of the points in the other reviews when the hotel is full there are obvious problems. The apartments/studio's are of a very good standard for Greece and all have air conditioning, the hotel does half board and self catering and the restuarant 'does' struggle...
