Been going with swimm club for years, given them ove 30k. Our trip got canceled due to covid canceled flights and hotel being actaully closed due to lockdown. Dispite haveing a month cancelation cluase and giving more than 2 months cancelation they have still not refunded more than 3000euro of deposit that parents have paid, will never go there again. Dont be fooled by managments garantees that they refund your money. They dont and keep it. Soon i will take legal action.

Hotel is situated in the busiest road of Thessaloniki where it’s the shopping area ,in the heart of the city. Hotel needs a good renovation!!!! We booked a bed and breakfast room and on the breakfast I asked for a second coffee so they charged me two euros lol never before in all my trips I paid for a second cup of coffee at the hotel breakfast 🤦‍♀️

We chose this hotel because it looked clean and had a central position. I give it two stars for the position which is indeed very good and for the kind staff. But the rooms are nothing like the pictures. We had 5 rooms at the first floor. In our room we were greeted by two big cockroaches. There was dust on the floor and on the bed side tables. The sheets were ok but had a few holes in them (were a bit old). The duvets and decorative pillows were stacked in the closet. The furniture looked kinda old (not stylish old but old old). The air conditioner was in a desperate need of cleaning. Our bathroom was ok for a night. But in another room there was something blue embedded in the tub. We had a great view but another room was facing pigeon poop on a roof just below the window. I had to disinfect by myself the bathroom and the surfaces in the room (there is a pandemic out there guys) in order to feel safe enough to put my things on the tables. The breakfast was kinda ok but not wow. And some dishes were already cold. Would not recommend. There are other hotels nearby and even if the price may be a bit higher, at least you feel safe and won't make friends with bugs.

`Le palace` isnt quite the most appropriate name for it, but it is very central and close to everything. Set on the main shopping street (Tsiminski) the shops are very close to hand. The entrance is almost behind a periptero (kiosk) on the main street. The fab eating area of Ladadakia is just a couple of minutes walk away and this is lively, has great food and the prices are reasonable. The sea front, with its bars and restaurants is just a few minutes walk. The Agora (market), Aristotelous Square and the White Tower are also within walking distance. We took a bus from the White Tower (number 200 I think) for an hour`s trip around the city to get orientated. It cost 2 euros and, although the commentary wasnt synchronised it did help us get a feel for the city. The hotel wasn`t plush, and was noisy (our room faced the main street), but the beds were very comfy, the place was clean and the staff were helpful. If you are visiting Thessaloniki for a two or three days stay and want to see everything quickly this hotel is ideal.
