A nice and small hotel in Old Olympia. The hotel is not directly on the main road, and therefore a bit more calm. Rooms are spacious and calm, and the greek yoghurt at breakfast is really good. You can walk to the Archeological site from the hotel. One of the best features of this hotel is that you can use...

LOVED our stay at Hotel Pelops! Very welcoming and comfortable, with a huge balcony! Most comfortable bed of our entire trip, and the owner has a relationship with the Garden Taverna up the hill, where you should totally go for dinner. Centrally located, comfortable, and welcoming, what more could you want?

We selected this hotel following a recommendation in the DK Eyewitness Travel guide to Greece (Athens & Mainland) and what great recommendation it was. After a hot journey through the mountains of central Pelopennese via Lagkadia (a trip which was worth taking for some of the scenery) the Hotel Pelops was a real breath of fresh air. The rooms were...

The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very clean and modern with wonderful balconies looking out over a quiet neighborhood in Ancient Olympia. All of the interior décor shows the personal touches in every corner. The Spiliopoulos family are very gracious and accommodating hosts. The breakfast buffet is very adequate and prepared fresh every morning. We...

Owner and staff were very friendly. We walked in late on a Tuesday and they were able to instantly accommodate the three of us. We were able to check out the room first. We stayed one night and everything was great. Beds were comfortable A/C worked good and wifi was good. Breakfast was delicious and you can see the Olympic...

We found this an excellent hotel for an overnight stay during our visit to the archaeological site and museum at Olympia. We were given a friendly welcome, useful information and a large room with windows and balconies on two sides, overlooking the square by the church, which was very quiet. The AC worked well and was quiet too. Breakfast was...

We enjoyed a too-brief visit at Hotel Pelops this week as we passed through Olympia on a 2-night stay. The hotel is strikingly decorated, with a luxurious feel that completely belies the rate we paid. Located right in the town, it's an easy walk to the historical sites. Since we had a car, we were also easily able to take...

I arrived tired and a bit punch-drunk from a long day of bus travel to find a lovely, friendly oasis at the Pelops. The room was cool and large and even had a little balcony. Susanna was so helpful, recommending wonderful food and activities.

Do you know the feeling when you enter a room or a building and everything just falls into the right place.? Like the calmness or the atmosphere just is so right for you. That was the exact feeling we got while arriving at The Pelops. Knowing for sure that we will be back, not only for the atmosphere but because...

We were a group visiting Olympia towards end May 2016 and chose the Pelops by chance, based on their price, appealing website and very positive traveller comments. We weren't disappointed. A family run hotel (going back to the grandfather), recently renovated, it offers very comfortable, clean, well maintained rooms overlooking a neatly manicured square and a beautiful church (Sunday mornings...
