We rented a room in Mainalon Hotel, overlooking Areos Square for 17 days. The hospitality was unique. The staff made us feel “this was our home”. From Tripoli Our mornings in Tripoli opened with a country breakfast in Mainalos Hotel, at Areos Square. Arcadian honey, village yogurt, homemade spanakopites, tiropites and bougatsa began our day. Every day, there was room...

The hotel rooms need to be renovated and made you feel depressed and dirty as soon as you entered the room. Worst night sleep here and did I mention it made you feel dirty? The bathroom was nice even though the toilet had a banner stating that it was "disinfect" however there was a little surprise still floating when I...

We have been many times in Tripoli and we have stayed in several hotels in the area, but this is the best choice for people who want to stay in the city. The location is great, since it is in the central square and you have access in many shops, restaurants etc. The room was good and the bed comfortable....

The hotel is located in the centre of Tripoli, next to the pedestrian streets, the shopping area and the cafes and bars. The hotel rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. The breakfast choices are limited and the breakfast area not nice.

No coffee pot in rooms, so bring your own. The hotel overlooks Areos Square. My husband loved the fact it was next to an internet cafe. The...

I stayed recently in Mainalon hotel during a business trip. It was for 4 nights and I was not amazed. This is a typical city hotel in small city.Room was rather large and bathroom spacious and recently renovated. Unfortunately there was carpet in the room that always makes the place dusty. My problem was the very low standards of soundproof....

We visited this hotel with a group of football fans for one night before the Europa league game. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly reception and excellent service provided by the front desk. Our room on the first floor had a reasonable wi-fi reception, the bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate and the beds firm but comfortable. Facing the...

This hotel does not live up to any of the reviews, it is in a poor state walked in on the first day and the rooms stunk of cigarette smell and the carpets are all stained. There is mould in all the shower stalls and the toilet seat in our room was cracked. The curtains were ripped and the beds...

In the heart of the city, with a great view of Areos Square...Really warn environment, and quite friendly staff! You really have to go down on the hotel's café and try Brownies! Since all hotels in the city have the exact same price, you'd better try Mainalon!
