I was in Skiathos for my friends wedding in August and we were recommended the hotel based on it's location- It definitely exceeded all of our expectations! Location wise it is perfect for exploring the town, you're within walking distance of the whole town and harbour, including the strip of clubs (although not close enough that you are disturbed by...

One room of three, one room for two on the same floor a few rooms apart. Both rooms clean and modern, lovely bathrooms. Lots of storage space, large desk, small television. We enjoyed our stay with no issues, right in the town near the bus terminal which is great for reaching beaches in the morning. We usually stay in Koukounaries...

I just returned from Skiathos in beginning of October and stayed with my 79 yr old mum. We booked through Thomas Cook and we especially picked the Alkyon because they had a lift. When we arrived we were on 4th floor for safety, but were told the lift doesn't work and isn't likely to be for our duration. We found...

Stayed here with my sister for a week. We had a lovely time, great breakfast on the roof terrace and very friendly staff. Fantastic location on the sea front near the harbour, and in the town, walking distance from the airport approx 15 mins. Some lovely bars/restaurants there. We will be back.

We stayed at the Alkyon hotel from 21-28th September. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews on trip advisor but we were not disappointed and really pleased with the hotel. Location is great, near the bus stop which takes you to all the beaches and is really cheap. View from roof top restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was...

Just returned from our 8th stay at the Alkyon. First things first , views and location are fabulous, rooms are spotlessly clean, and the hotel staff are fabulous, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them - but then again if you treat people with respect you'll always get it back ! In past years I have asked...

I did not have a relaxed holiday at this hotel. The walls were paper thin. I could hear a guest next door coughing, snoring and urinating. The workman associated with the hotel made sound banging noises outside my balcony area and used a noisy cement mixer from morning until 8.30pm every day. There was mould growing on the walls in...

Stayed at the Alkyon hotel in september for 10 nights, enjoyed our stay very much! Location is brilliant, close to everything and a 2 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to the beaches around the island. They had two main ladies on reception, one with blonde hair was lovely very welcoming, the dark haired lady came across...
