Our travel partners, friends for over forty years, chose this fantastic trip for us. We flew from Vienna, Austria and traveled by bus to the wonderful Vina Beach Hotel. We are delighted to be here for a week- it is tasteful, beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens. We have a pool and sea view from our roomy balcony, but even if we didn’t, the hotel is charming enough to please us completely. Housekeeping is very thorough and unabtrusive. Breakfast is ample and homemade served by the lovely and helpful Maria. Many wonderful tavernas are close by and taxi service is fast and inexpensive. We will make every effort to return next year and bring family members with us. Most highly recommended!

Always happy 😃 to stay in this friendly and cozy place. The best people with best service in a picturesque place. Nicely positioned by the sea with easy access to rest of the island by 🚗 bicycle 🚲 or by foot. Strongly recommended

Lovely hotel right on the beach with fantastic service, scrumptious breakfast, spacious rooms, and very friendly owners. They let us stay past our check-out time and then called a taxi for us so we could get to the Skyros Ferry in time for our crossing to the island of Evia. I wish we could have stayed one more day just to enjoy more of the hotel and the location.

We loved this place. We were here for four nights. It is the perfect location for beach/pool-time and sightseeing. The rooms are big, clean, with a small kitchen and an excellente view over the pool area/garden and Beach. If you dont have a car, You can walk to Skyros town in 40 min. or you can take the local bus. The beach is right in front of the hotel. You have two very good restaurant options nearby (10 min walk). The restaurant by the lighthouse is great for lunch/drinks and the local taverne nearby have fantastic local food (dont miss the lobster-pasta, but remember to order it the day before). The owners are very helpfull and do a lot to make you feel at home. We booked a massage, and he is very good and professional, I have som neck problems and he knew how to make it better!

The hotel was clean, with all the amenities with amazing views to the Aegean. The rooms are massive with so much space. Maria, the owner is lovely, friendly and always happy to help. The pool area is well maintained and there is plenty of space to relax. Strongly recommend.

This is a lovely hotel. It's right by the beach at Molos - the hotel has wonderful gardens with a large swimming pool, from which you can walk straight through to the beach. If you want, you can sit on a hotel sun lounger on the beach, and choose whether to swim in the pool or in the sea! The beach itself is small and feels private, and it has a rocky ridge a few feet out, so that you can either paddle in the shallows (great if you have small children) or if you're feeling adventurous, cross the rocky ridge with care and swim out to sea - I used sea shoes to cross, but I think it's possible without if you're sure-footed. The hotel rooms are typical Skyros style. My room was very spacious and comfortable, with a bath as well as shower. Maria the proprietor is lovely and goes the extra mile to help guests with anything they might need/like. If you want a quiet holiday, this is an excellent place. If you're looking for the bright lights of Skyros town it's either a long walk (about 40 mins) or a bus ride - buses go until about 11pm, but check the timetable because there aren't that many of them. There's excellent wifi connections in the bedrooms.

Beautiful view and very clean rooms. The maid service was excellent. They cleaned and mopped the whole room (which is more like an appartment), every day. Beautiful beach a few feet away with the most beautiful view. My wife commented that it was like being on our own island. When I think back on this trip I will be thinking of peace and quiet.

Hotel Vina is an excellent place to stay for both relaxing and exploring the island of Skyros. It's situated right on the beach and built around a beautiful pool with surrounding umbrellas, loungers and shaded tables. There are ten rooms in the Skyros white block style with spectacular views over the sea and across to the southern part of the island. The rooms have a kitchen area with fridge and cooking facilities. The buffet breakfast includes local produce, lashings of yogurt, home made cakes and the local speciality of rice pudding. Maria and her husband are very friendly and helpful to assist you with travelling around, finding restaurants and generally making you enjoy your holiday. Skyros has many attractions. Not only the beaches, sun and sea but also an interesting old town, as well as forests, mountains, museums and Rupert Brook's grave. Overall we had a great holiday at the Vina and would definitely go back again.

The hotel is located on "Vina" beach at "Molos", in the NE part of the island. It looks onto the hotel pool and the sea and offers a peaceful scenery, ideal for relaxation.. The sea in front of the hotel is not ideal for swimming though, because there is a reef parallel to the beach that blocks the way. Nonetheless, Vina hotel is strategically placed very close to "Magazia" and "Gyrismata" beaches where one can enjoy swimming as far from the coastline they desire and eating in the good quality restaurants and tavernas around! Breakfast was optional for 5 euro per person, not bad, although quite basic
