Welcoming and friendly staff. Simple and nice rooms with comfortable beds. It's a charming restaurant and it was warm and nice inside the restaurant a cold rainy summer day. We only stayed one night but can really recommend staying here.
We visited StaySail for one night in summer. It's a relaxed and casual place with pleasant hosts and good quality home made food. Recommended.
Tip: it's a good idea to book directly with them.

Hello Sue. Yes, you are right. Staysail only accepted Danish kroner when we were there. I understand that is because using credit facilities costs them a lot of money to set up and use. However, we were in Denmark for six days and used our credit card in most places, including Rosskilde, Helsingor and the Louisianna Art Museum. There were a few small cafes which did not accept credit but most restaurants did. I am sorry, but I cannot really make a suggestions as to how much money you should take out. Apart from Staysail though, you will really only need it for incidentals.
