I live near Boston, MA and I am in Copenhagen often for 2 weeks at a time. I learned through a colleague about Charlottehaven and love staying there. Very clean, nicely decorated apartments. Food is excellent at the café and the gym is second to none. Swimming pool is also first rate.

Stayed in Charlottehaven for a long weekend break with friends at the start of December. This is by far the best apartment I've stayed as so far. We were here for my 3rd wedding anniversary, we booked late as we were meant to go to Paris but changed last minute due to the unrest. During our stay Fredrick could not...

What makes Charlottehaven unique is the mix of well designed functionality and the - wonderful - absence of unnecessary furniture and artefacts. Everything is at hand: healthy, everyday food; gym, pool, good coffee, wifi, secure parking and a cosy, thick house coat. You feel almost at home.

I am a business traveller and stays at the hotel every week from Monday to Thursday. I have been doing that for almost 2 years. I have before that tried several hotels around Copenhagen and there are no other hotel like this. The size of, even the "small" apartments are very spacious, and is a lot better than any hotel...

Charlottehaven is just a few train stops away from the center of Copenhagen. We loved its apartment-style accommodations. The apartment we got was incredibly spacious, and had a 180-degree view of the nearby port, the sea, and the city. It is only a few minutes' walk from one train station, but there was no train noise (albeit we always slept...

My husband and two daughters (ages 11 and 9) stayed here for 3 nights before taking a Disney cruise out of Copenhagen. We were having difficulty finding accommodations for a family of 4. It seemed many hotels in Copenhagen would only sleep 3, and even those that were supposed to hold 4 did not appear to have enough beds for...

Stayed here twice at either end of a family touring holiday in Denmark. It's great. A really lovely apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen/living room and bathroom and a balcony (our second one had a view of the sea). Very spacious, quiet, fantastic quality furnishing and equipment, comfortable beds. The staff are wonderful too - they speak perfect English and...

When we booked this Hotel it was rated about # 1 on tripadvisor. I note it has gone down since Good points are staff are friendly and helpful, nice area ,out of town with rail and shops nearby I feel it is for under 40 year olds who are interested in environmental issues. While the rates are not cheap you...

Staying in Outer Oesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Outer Oesterbro
Fælledparken continues into Outer Oesterbro, where Parken (Denmark's national soccer stadium) is located. In the middle of Outer Oesterbro you’ll find Østre Gasværk, which is a popular theatre located in an old (brick-wall) gas cylinder. Travel to the easternmost part of Outer Oesterbro to reach Nordhavn, a harbour area where most of the development is over water, showcasing Copenhagen's constant development. Nordhavn is home to the UN City and to pricey penthouse apartments which, on a clear day, can see all the way to Sweden.
