We chose the Grand Hotel for its closeness to Central Station. It's barely a block from the station, just behind Hotel Astoria. It's close to many attractions, including Tivoli Gardens.
Our room was very nice with super high ceilings and a comfortable bed. Our windows...More
The Grand hotel is very central, just around the corner from the train station, five minute walk to Tivoli Gardens ( which was closed in March ) staff were very helpful on giving directions for sightseeing which we would not have managed without help! We...More
Just had a meal in the on site restaurant and the staff were so unfriendly. The meal came very quickly and whilst it was fine the staff let down the whole experience. Certainly would not eat there again. Many better Italian restaurants nearby and better...More
I spent a night in this hotel. I found myself in a tiny room in poor condition. It was pretty noisy I could hear sounds coming from the room above. Unfriendly staff at the reception.

Stayed one night at Grand Hotel and envoyed it. It is old fashioned and the rooms are small. But good atmosphere and good breakfast in nice location. It was very
hot in Copenhagen when I Stayed and with no air con the rooms get hot.
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
