I recently stayed with a friend at Hotel Ibsens for two nights for a short city break. The hotel is in a great location, we soon realised it was our favourite neighbourhood in the 'central' part of the city. Really easy to get to all the main sights on foot, and conveniently located five minutes from the train/metro station which...

Thank you so much for your nice review. We are located - as you say - in a really wonderful neighborhood. We love it very much our selves :) We are sorry to hear about your experience with the bed spreads. I hope you notified our front desk. It is not supposed to be like that - our housekeepers are...

Loved this hotel!! We booked the family room for our family of four and it worked out very well. The only downside was the bathroom and shower. It was clean but extremely basic and since the floor of the shower was flush with the floor of the rest of the bathroom, water ended up everywhere. That being said, it didn't...

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It makes us really happy to read. Our bathrooms are of the traditional Copenhagen type - with a shower and a wet floor. We are considering changing the lay-out for future renovations of the bathrooms. We are glad that you enjoyed our cozy hour and thank you also for mentioning my wonderful...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights in March/April and it was great! The hotel is really nice, the staff is friendly and helpful and our room had everything we needed! We tried the breakfast the first morning and it was delicious! The WIFI connection was slow in our room at peak hours in the evening but the...

Stayed a night during a business trip, but it seems the majority of guests were tourists. Good for both. Location is nice just off Norrebro station and the shopping areas, also night life is close by, although not exactly here. Quite noisy anyway though by traffic. Breakfast was really good, high quality organic items and good bread. Likely to come...

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are so glad to learn that you enjoyed your stay. We are also really glad that you liked the breakfast buffet. It is inspired by local and Nordic food traditions and is featuring 90% organic produce. When living in a big city there will be some noise - this is part...

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights in March. The welcome was very friendly when we checked in, and every time we came in the hotel! Cozy hour is great, a nice treat after a long day sightseeing to have a lovely glass of wine and wind down. I had breakfast on one morning, a great selection of...

Really lovely hotel situated perfectly in Copenhagen - 5 minute walk to Norreport metro + trains (you can get basically everywhere from there). Cosy hour is wonderful in the evening, lovely atmosphere and a beer/wine on the house! Overall we had a great few days in Copenhagen and can't recommend Ibsens enough!

I visited this hotel for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location, not far from Nørreport Station which makes it easy to get to and from the airport and around Copenhagen! It's also a short walk from the Botanical Gardens. The room was a good size although it didn't have any storage units...

As always, we love to hear comments, questions, suggestions or spottings while you are staying with us - or afterwards. When Ibsens Hotel was redesigned I 2011, we decided to replace cupboards with shelves, hooks and hangers. We thought that cupboards would take up too much space and that more guests would prefer a little more room space to cupboards....

This is a great 3-star hotel for Copenhagen. It's close enough to the action, without all the hustle and bustle and it represents great value. There are great little touches around the place (look under the bed) and these elevate the hotel and give it personality. The beds are comfy and the decor is minamilist Danish in greys and yellow....

very comfortable hotel, great efficient service, loved their cosy hour (hour every day where they serve you a free wine or beer to enjoy in the lounge). We had a room on the 6th floor which was a bit small (had to be careful not to hit our heads on the ceiling), but was very comfortable otherwise.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad to learn that you enjoyed your stay. The rooms at the 6th floor have sloping walls and wooden rafters so the ceilings are not that high. On the other hand those rooms are really cozy in my opinion. If you are very tall you might prefer another room. It's good to...
