Great location near the train station & only a short walk to city centre. Basic & clean & very reasonable in comparison to other hotels we looked at. We rented bikes from reception & explored the city. Great food market 2 mins from hotel

Thank you so much for your very nice review. We are glad to read that you enjoyed our location just as much as we do :) It is indeed great to explore the city by bike, especially when the weather is nice. Next time you should try our New Nordic breakfast - made from organic and local produce. But you...

Among the very, very, very expensive solutions you can find in Copenhagen, this hotel is a good bargain. Fair position: two minutes walk from Nørreport station; ten/fifteen minutes walking from the main city attractions (City Hall, Tivoli, etc.) Our room (double room at fifth floor) was essential, with everything you need (hairdryier, bath products..), and open space shower with no...

Thank you for your nice words about us. We do have a very nice location as you describe so well. All our rooms are of different sizes and shapes. It sounds like the room you reserved was a medium sized room (economy double). The bed is 140cm. If you want to spend a little more I would advise you to...

Good location, short walk to city centre and close to the metro and bus stops. We had booked a large room, the room size was nice, but we got a large room with the tiniest bathroom in the hotel, which little bit dropped the overall feeling of the room. The room was very cosy decorated. There were no mini fridge,...

Thank you so much for your review. It is nice to read that you overall enjoyed staying with us. Ibsens Hotel is comparable to a 3-starred hotel. That’s why we haven’t installed minibar. Normally a larger room comes with a larger bathroom. But to be honest, bathrooms wasn’t prioritized, back when they constructed the building. The same thing applies to...

I stayed at Ibsens with my family for three nights over Easter. It's a wonderful hotel in a great location: close to all the major sights and attractions but also in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood with many good restaurants and cafes. We found the staff really helpful and welcoming - a real credit to the place. The room was nice,...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review - I really appreciate your words about my nice colleagues in the reception and our homely atmosphere. Your wish to come back is the best praise we can get. I loved this hotel, which is about 200 metres from the Metro station and the markets, and a stone's throw from the centre of town - really easy to get to and from. My room was spacious with a street view, a comfortable bed, nice linen, spacious bathroom, and the windows opened (which is always lovely). Check in was easy...

Ibsen's Hotel is just a few blocks from the Norreport Metro stop, and two blocks from Torvehallerne for eating. There is also a great sushi restaurant two doors down. The hotel rooms are small but clean. The bathroom is one of the smallest I have ever used.

Thank you for your positive review. We are so glad you appreciated our hotel, even if you found your room too small. My main concern in booking this hotel was the convenience in getting to the hotel from the train station. This turned out to be more of a concern with the information provided for the train/metro/buses than the hotel, as there is a bus stop approximately one block away and the Norreport Metro Station is approximately two blocks away. I enjoyed...

Thank you very much for your nice and thorough review. I am sure a lot of guests will find it useful. Yes we have rooms of many shapes being situated in an old 1800 century building in the center of Copenhagen - that would also be the reason why the floor in some rooms is a little squeaky.
